It feels selfish because people are literally dying but at the same time I'm like "can we please maintain normal life?" Fuck I'm a horrible person. I know it isnt right to ask "what about me?" during times of crisis but "what about me?"

Like... life was pretty good for me up until a few weeks ago. I didnt ask for this interruption. I'll wear the mask and take it on the chin with a smile while saying "shikkata ga nai" but feel absolutely destroyed inside.

Fuck I hate having emotions

 

I agree, it could be a real opportunity for people to come together and help each other.

I'm on this facebook page for residents of my town, never really paid it attention before because it's usually just Karen's whining about something lol, but the past couple of days people have been volunteering their services ...for childcare, to pick up groceries and prescriptions for the elderly, and various other odds and ends. It's really nice to see

My course coordinator emailed us last night telling people to stay home even if they have the slightest sniffle. That makes it too easy!
Seriously though this lurgy can spread like the gastro bug spreads. So even if you have hayfever you should stay home.
think we are all going to be germophobes soon

I went to the bars last night with my boss. Even though they’re advising not to do that. Everyone was acting normal and care free. My boss and I were having drinks sitting at a table because one of the DJs we were sponsoring was spinning discs.

Everything about it seemed normal. Except the place was a sausage fest with more dudes than chicks.
