A year to 18 months for a vaccine is what the LA Times is saying, quoting Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases

"Nothing can stop a global outbreak in its tracks better than a vaccine. Unfortunately, creating a vaccine capable of preventing the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 will probably take at least a year to 18 months, health officials say.

“'That is the time frame,' Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told the House Oversight and Reform Committee this week. Anyone who says they can do it faster 'will be cutting corners that would be detrimental.'”

Went to my local sports bar and business was slow due to no sports and people being afraid to congregate. They normally have 2 bartenders on Sunday but they sent one home due to having few customers. Since there were no sports on TV I asked them to put the Demo Debate on, and that got a few people to stick around and watch it, but it didn't exactly have us on the edge of our seats. Bernie needed to knock it out of the park but Biden was prepared, he was surprising lucid.
