My entire life the president has been known by his last name. Just Bush, Clinton, etc

Obama was always "Berry" or "obummer". Two words meant to disrespect. First names are much less formal. With your logic he was not shown any respect. Is that OK too if you don't agree with him?

Freedom of speech is something I have fought for most of my life. You run you life however you please. Cuss words are so jarring and actually unnecessary to make a point. Why you so angry man?

Some folks want you to understand their entire position is quickly and efficiently as possible. Calling him simply Trump is only slightly off tier on the scale of respect. For years that has been what he is called in the real world.

The next tier is where the childish side pours in like a gaping wound. I'd say this starts with Drumpf, which is said to be the family's ancestral German name. It's a foot in the door for claims that he's a Nazi, cut from the same cloth as Hitler or sometimes Goebbels. Grossly bigoted, would pass for racism if he wasn't a honky. But it feeds into him becoming a dictator and seizing control, forever.

That's just a single example of how fast it goes off the rails. Does anyone really think all this "hate" for Trump is organic? Of course not, it's the product of media brain washing over decades. It's SO easy to get Americans to vote for a sandwich or a furry mascot these days. Still, I understand some of it since I have never liked Trump. He reminds of the Yankee version of old money wealthy Southern slobs who manage to stay solvent but don't have any common sense. A lot of them are slum lords riding on their real estate fortunes while squeezing the life out of their tenants.

As much as I dislike either version, I understand their game. And that's stability as I see it. Stability is a time to get a lot accomplished. Democrats have already squandered 4 years away like pixie dust and have accomplished bung-all.

 

I hear you man, but he is President of the USA, the most powerful country on the planet. Like him or loathe him. Respect the office.

 

Are you sure this childish furor over Trump isn't a direct result of the example he set for the country? Not that that's an excuse, but he's the one who makes up childish names for everyone. It seems like everyone just jumped on the schoolyard bullying bandwagon he started.

OK--Let me say this. I have no characteristics that trump has. I am not a liar. I have never cheated anyone. I have always paid my debts and have not been sued by anyone to collect same from me. I was a person that stopped anyone in school from being bullied if I saw it happen. Many times. I have never and I would never make light of any ones disability. That's exactly what I taught my children--never make fun of those less fortunate than yourself. My son now runs my business and he runs it honestly--like he was taught to be in business from a little boy and in all his endeavors. We have a roofing company. I have told my kids NEVER tell people that they need a roof if they can get by for some amount of years longer. They knew it before I told them.

Freedom of the press is guaranteed by our constitution. The only people that are afraid of the press and say things as trump---are tin-horn dictators ---"leaders"that want to get away doing what they want with no "sunshine" to expose them. You know who they are and have been--I don't have to name them.

These are some of the reasons that I do not hold back when I talk about trump. He is the antithesis of all that I believe. All that I have tried to teach my children. This is a person that embodies EVERYTHING that is wrong with humanity,IMO. So yes-----I have no patience with him and his actions, responses or history.

I am not Mr wonderful. I'm just a working stiff that would really like and be able to look up to a respectful,honest,caring,individual as a leader of this country. (or any ). So--you see--I lose my temper quite often when I see his life unfold before us as it is. And I STILL-----still don't understand why so many admire him. He has not even shown a shred of dignity, honesty, or responsibility in the highest office in the land. So maybe you'll understand me or maybe you won't. Maybe you'll make fun of me, or you won't. Makes no difference--I am who I am and you-all are who you are. I don't particularly like talking about me--but this time I felt it necessary.

 

why? He has made a mockery of the Office of the President.
