just telling that when I see his name I think of satchmo. Satchmo is a nickname for Louis Armstrong. So that is the wtf Yeah, not covid19 related.

 

Mandated? Authoritatively commanded? Nowhere. I'm basing it mainly on principles of distributive justice and judicial interpretation of the equal protection clause. Of course, courts apply strict scrutiny where race is involved, meaning the "good reason" has to be a "compelling state interest". I don't think COVID-19 would have trouble qualifying.

 

Trump being the coward he is I would have expected this response

I think his "metaphor" and subsequent comments led his FOX audience not to take the virus seriously. His comments today on Fox about getting it all over with by Easter and having the churches packed seem to send the same message. Or is that another metaphor for something?

 

He's not that cluey old donald trump.

 

He seems to be trolling like what some people are doing in here.
Once a family member of his gets it he won't be trolling anymore.
It would shock him.

I just watched a video of Trump saying he thinks America will be back to normal by Easter and Churches packed for service.

In a few days the US will top Italy with infections.

It's amazing how fucking clueless this guy is.

That's the thing that baffles me: his shameless self-praise, awkward phrasing, constant repetitions of words in the middle of a sentence, petty digs at groups he dislikes (the press, our allies, etc), claims to know more than the experts, and the misinformation (we have plenty of tests, ventilators, etc; Easter is a realistic time to pack the churches and get back to work)--and people like it! His adoring fans on this forum can't get enough of it. Blinded by love!
