I feel kinda mad for not remembering this by the way. I don't believe I've developed Anterograde Amnesia but I read a book by Oliver Sacks called An Anthropologist on Mars which features a few case studies with this very condition.

I still am in a slight Phenibut haze but it shouldn't be an excuse.

 

I don't know about to the extent that you're thinking of but there are areas that essentially shutdown and conserve energy.

And if Terminator taught me anything it's that I can most likely trust a Terminator more than I can trust a human. Plus they can switch power packs too and don't need to sleep.

I had one too once. 99% certain it was due to a cat scratch a few weeks earlier. I grew such a big lump on my throat/neck they at first thought i had Pfeiffers disease (kissing disease), but soon it became apparent it only grew at one side of the throat.
It was benign but because of the arteries in the neck it was not a surgery without risks. Went without trouble though

Ah i win here. My cyste was full of liquid pus and the docs said they were amazed by the amount of it! :-D
