Piggybacking on my post. The other day, the California Fish and Game commission was having a meeting on whether or not to postpone the fishing season opener in the eastern Sierra. A postponement was requested by two counties that can't handle an influx of people. Two counties that live and die by the tourist dollar The meeting was disrupted by trump supporters saying that their rights to fish were being taken away. Ultimately, the governor postponed opening day. Hey dumbasses. Fishing is not a right.
My right to health care is more important than another man's hunting and fishing privileges. Same goes for his right to make money. These self centered Republicans need to understand this.
Modern liberalism summed up into one headline: My 15-year-old transgender son is going through menopause - and I'm so proud of him
Trump's whining, trolling twitter post April 17, 2020: “Governor Cuomo should spend more time ‘doing’ and less time ‘complaining.’ Get out there and get the job done. Stop talking!”
The gun nuts will regard this as a call to arms. Trump Calls on People to ‘LIBERATE’ Virus-Stricken States With Democratic Governors
Coronavirus: ‘Liberate’ states protesting against lockdown, says Trump BBC News April 17, 2020 ‘Liberate’ states protesting against lockdown - Trump excerpt: "President Donald Trump has appeared to endorse protests against stringent lockdown measures in several states. In a series of tweets, he said: "LIBERATE MINNESOTA", "LIBERATE MICHIGAN" and then "LIBERATE VIRGINIA". Protesters say the severe economic restrictions are hurting citizens, but health officials warn lifting them could spread infection. The US saw its highest daily death toll on Thursday, recording 4,591 deaths in 24 hours."
The talking head conservative TV show hosts now have an opportunity to say that the elderly should sacrifice their lives so that the fishermen can fish.
I was thinking of typing: My 65 year old Republican neighbor who has the brains of a ten year old is going through mental pause and I am so worried about him.
36,000 documented coronavirus deaths in the U.S. and Trump is using it to try to score points in election swings states such as Minnesota, Michigan, and Virginia.
Trump's words conjure up the atmosphere for his enthusiasts to go on a shooting spree at a Pizza Hut to liberate fishermen that they think are being held in a back room and forced to practice social distancing.
Just when Trump seems to have reached his maximum possible dementedness, he tops it with another pathological act.
Cuomo's response to Trump after he asked for thanks: “What am I supposed to do, send a bouquet of flowers?"

No Plan In Sight: Test Troubles Cloud Trump Recovery Effort Associated Press April 17, 2020 2:06 pm No Plan In Sight: Test Troubles Cloud Trump Recovery Effort excerpt: "Federal health officials declined to say how many cartridges were initially sent to states, but said more will be available as Abbott increases production. The company says it is currently producing 50,000 cartridges daily. The U.S. bungled its initial rollout due to flaws with the test developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Precious time was wasted in February as the test was corrected and redistributed. Private labs at hospitals, universities and commercial companies weren’t fully enlisted in the effort until March. The U.S. is currently testing roughly 145,000 people daily, for a total of 3.4 million results reported, according to state data compiled by the Covid Tracking Project. Public health experts say capacity needs to be much higher, in part to repeatedly test essential workers and to isolate those who test positive and to track down their close contacts to prevent new outbreaks. “We still probably need to be doing three times more testing than we’re doing now,” said Dr. Ashish K. Jha, director of the Global Health Institute at Harvard. “I don’t see America getting by anytime soon with 100,000 to 150,000 tests.”"
