I feel like there should be more response to this. I think it's time to declare martial law; though I hate to say it. It would expose all those guardsmen to Covid-19, and put the protesters in harms way.

I see it as inflammatory. I don't respect what they have to say. And I definitely don't see it the way they do.

Isn't every expert in the entire free-thinking world telling them that they need to stay inside and remain away from crowds?

And where's the video of some blithering buffoons that caught coronavirus defying lockdown to stand up for their precious sensibilities.

I don't know. To me, living here, it feels like there's a divide between normalcy and what those folks are doing. It's never socially acceptable to do the sort of thing those people are doing. The stockpiling... The standing up against a formal directive... all that's a little weird.

I feel like it's lots of bluster, and with the exception of maybe one guy who stands up and starts yelling, or worse, firing, there's not a lot of that happening.

But if people were asked, in non virus times, to refrain from flying around the world, or driving long distances, for the sake of the planet's climate, that would be considered an outrageous request. And that would be not including all the other more local restrictions. So which is it? Not much to ask, or so much to ask people won't do it. Homicide suspect from Pennsylvania arrested on Jacksonville Beach this morning.

Police tell me the man was sitting near the dunes. That’s against the rules for the partial re-opening. Officers stopped him, say he gave false ID and found out who he was.

Mario Gatti, 30, has been a fugitive since January. He’s accused of shooting and killing a man inside a condo in Arnold, PA.
