    I'm pretty sure mainly illegal immigrants are blamed for issues on the job market. And why would legal immigrants be scapegoated for getting american citizens infected with covid19. You share the assertion, so I think it's fair I ask you.

    That the borders are now closed is not primarily because of an immigration issue. Ordinary travellers (holiday, business) are also trying to be kept in their own country atm as much as possible.

    Borders are closed in many countries to take precautions. It's not a blame game against immigrants. I know illegal immigrants are scapegoated for multiple issues.
