So it turns out William Byron is better on iracing than he is in the #24 car of mine. :tearsofjoy:

It's all good. I will still support him. :)

Yay! I have to wash mine, and every now and then we run some vinegar through it to clear out its guts. It works super, but smells like someone is boiling vinegar for hours! :tongueclosed:

Ugh, that smell is really odd. I usually run mine through a few times with just water after because I'm afraid of my coffee tasting like vinegar.

We bought these cloth coffee filters because the grocery store kept not having paper filters. They work pretty well - the snobs online say that they make better coffee but I think it's pretty much the same.

I also like my new machine because I can pre fill the milk container and put it in the fridge, then basically all I have to do is wake up, stomp out to kitchen, pull milk from fridge, click it in and press a button and coffee gets made while I decide which underwear I look good in tonight for work. :tongueclosed::tongueclosed:

I also figure it's 2020 and coffee machines should learn how to clean themselves by now hehe.

Do you walk your cat on a leash? I've never done that...

I recall reading about research which studied cats and dogs behavior around humans vs when they were around their own species and the researchers found that dogs behavior significantly changed around humans as where cats behavior did not.

The author of the article (not the researchers) drew a similar conclusion.

They just don't do as much as dogs for me. I've only had German shepherds so I'm pretty bias of them too. I think cats are cool too and i'mma get my Norwegian forest cat one day.

To me THE GSD is the pinnacle of any pet. It's aesthetically pleasing to look at from the colors, coat, teeth, jaw, head, snout, body and tail. I'm not sure what comes close to its ambition, it's drive, it's personality, it's love, it's endurance, it's discipline and most importantly, it's will to see you as an owner smile.

My dog doesn't do things because he wants to when I ask him, that's another thing, I control my dog, he may think he's the alpha but we both know I'm the Daddy! Haha. He does what I ask him because I ask him and he knows it. He don't wanna sit there and not move, but he will because that's how much he respects me as his owner. He just wants to see me happy. He knows when I'm happy, life's happy.

He's not just my best friend, he's so much more. He'll protect me no questions asked. He's my body guard. He'll run off to fight for me in battle without any questions asked, hell, I can't even find these same traits in human beings.

There's also one more thing, he's my listener. I talk to my dog a lot. About everything. I honestly believe that animals 3rd eyes are much more in tune than that of humans. Humans have been Lied to, forced to believe and learn false history. Our 3rd eye has been basically bred out by deceit. Animals don't know any better, I believe they can see through to different realms and dimensions than humans and I honestly believe there's some entity there that can communicate to my dog that which I try and communicate to him.

I don't believe that's a fantasy at all. It's uncanny how much he picks up that I say to him, even if it's just an understanding from him that he's there for me. I mean actually lay with my dog and talk to him. He talks back with his noises. He shows love, anger, sadness, sorrow and frustrations and he communicates it well.

It might not happen in the spot but I do feel at times that something communicates with him to let him know what we've said or spoken to him about. It's hard to explain because it's all an emotional feeling and connection between him and I, but I'll reiterate again, those feelings I can't even find in real people, you can't even replicate them.

    That's a German Shepherd.

    :)

I think if you don't give dogs the attention they require they cease to be dogs, just need to see the defeat in their eyes and body language.. there's nothing there anymore.

But dog attention to me is all play so it doesn't bother me, it's not like he's coming up to me so I can help with the yard work or homework of cooking or washing, he wants me to play with him, throw a ball, tug a rope, have fluffy toys stuffed in my face.. because he loves me. :)

I would hate to think who my dog may have ended up with because I know for a fact that several puppies were given back to the breeder from the same litter because they were too much work.

Fucken stupid really, all you needed to do was check who the sire was, Italian Champion. Oden Delle Terra Matildiche. The sire did Schützhund, you wanna know why your pup is too much work just think about that for a second lol.

And yes, I totally went with that breeder strictly because of the Sires name, Odin.

I can walk into GSD club with a 6 year old and says "he's an Odin" and they know what I'm talking about because that sire has travelled the world being studded out.

People seem more eager to make blanket statements about cats too. Maybe because they're all roughly the same size or something.

I think it might be easier to anthropomorphize dogs and their flavor of social behavior. By standards of the animal kingdom, I believe cats are technically social animals, but they kind of have a mystique about them.

Also, I'm not fond of the smell of cat urine or kitty litter. I know people with dogs too where the house stinks. I guess I'm overly cautious of it though in my house I ask errybody who came saw me when we first got dog if the house smelled weird and if we were used to it, but everyone says nope all good. :)

I mean at the end of the day someone can convince me cats are better until the cows come home, but if my nose doesn't agree then that's that lol.

The nose likes what the nose likes hehe.

The only thing I really don't like about my dog is the wet toys in my face. I don't want that, boy.

I always like touching paws too cause he doesn't like it, so I always remind him how much each paw cost. 500€ Atreyu, 500€ per paw, they're my paws. :D
