I have an old manual for that in my attic. I collect old books like that. Shall find it and post some photos?
I have seen gas fridges just like that one on shearers' accommodation at outback sheep stations in Australia. Growing up we had a hinged toaster very similar to that one . Only one side of the slice of bread would get toasted at a time. The hinges would make a noise all of their own when opening and closing. When I first came to Australia in 1982 you still buy these type of toasters, albeit with more modern styling from budget price shops. There are still bar heaters similar to that one around today. Out first TV was a second hand 405 line one similar to that one.
Yes, I've cooked meals on a similar stove, and apart from the fact that mine is now electric as opposed to gas (which I much prefer) my current cooker is not too much different from the one in the photograph.
