Trump wants to effectively impeach Obama retroactively.

Trump demands Obama be made to testify in the Senate
In his latest tweet, Trump seems to be ordering Sen. Lindsey Graham to put Obama through a kind of show trial.

Trump demands Obama be made to testify in the Senate

    excerpt:

"For the past few days, President Trump has been talking nonstop about something he has termed “OBAMAGATE” — a largely incoherent conspiracy theory that positions former President Obama as the mastermind behind a conspiracy to use federal law enforcement to undermine Trump’s campaign and presidency.

It is, in effect, the new birtherism: an unfounded campaign against the legitimacy of America’s first black president that Trump is trying to exploit to rally the political faithful.

This morning, Trump seriously escalated his campaign against Obama, tweeting at one of his most reliable supporters in the Senate, Lindsey Graham, to force Obama to testify before Congress about this allegedly dastardly plot.

The specific wording of the tweet — “Do it… just do it” — is striking; the request sounds like a childish dare, as if Trump were daring Graham to shave his head during a late-night Zoom call. But the absurdity of the language shouldn’t distract from the nefariousness of the request."

Judge Appoints Outsider to Take On Justice Dept. in Flynn Case
A retired judge will also examine whether the former national security adviser committed perjury.

Judge Appoints Outsider to Take On Justice Dept. in Flynn Case

    excerpt"

"Mr. Flynn later began fighting the charge and sought to withdraw his guilty plea. Then last week, the Justice Department abruptly moved to drop the charge after a long campaign by Mr. Trump and his supporters, prompting accusations that Attorney General William P. Barr had undermined the rule of law and further politicized the department.

Judge Sullivan also asked Judge Gleeson to explore the possibility that by trying to withdraw his pleas, Mr. Flynn opened himself to perjury charges.

The Justice Department declined to comment. Judge Gleeson did not respond to a request for comment. Judge Sullivan had said on Tuesday that he would consider briefs from outsiders known as amicus curiae, or “friend of the court,” who opposed the government’s request to dismiss the case against Mr. Flynn."

Meat Plant Closures Mean Pigs Are Gassed or Shot Instead
Coronavirus outbreaks at meatpacking plants have created a backlog of animals ready for slaughter but with nowhere to go. Farmers are having to cull them.

Meat Plant Closures Mean Pigs Are Gassed or Shot Instead

    excerpt:

"One Minnesota hog farmer sealed the cracks in his barn and piped carbon dioxide through the ventilation system. Another farmer has considered gassing his animals after loading them into a truck. And a third shot his pigs in the head with a gun. It took him all day.

These are dark days on many American pig farms. Coronavirus outbreaks at meatpacking plants across the Midwest have created a backlog of pigs that are ready for slaughter but have nowhere to go. Hundreds of thousands of pigs have grown too large to be slaughtered commercially, forcing farmers to kill them and dispose of their carcasses without processing them into food.

And yet, around the United States, scores of people are struggling to find enough to eat, lining up at food banks after losing their jobs in the economic fallout of the pandemic. Distribution issues have caused grocery stores and fast-food restaurants to run low on meat. Kroger, the largest supermarket chain in the United States, is limiting the amount of ground beef and pork that customers can buy at some stores. Costco has placed a three-product cap on purchases of fresh beef, poultry and pork. Wendy’s has run out of hamburgers at hundreds of locations."

'It eats him alive inside': Trump's latest attack shows endless obsession with Obama

    excerpt:

"But what became clear in the next three and a half years is that Obama remains something of an obsession for Trump; the subject of a political and personal inferiority complex.

Observers point to a mix of anti-intellectualism, racism, vengeance and primitive envy over everything from Obama’s Nobel peace prize to the scale of his inauguration crowd and social media following.

Ben Rhodes, a former Obama national security aide, tweeted this week: “Trump’s fact-free fixation on Obama dating back to birtherism is so absurd and stupid that it would be comic if it wasn’t so tragic.”

“Birtherism” was a conspiracy theory that Trump started pushing in 2011 (“He doesn’t have a birth certificate. He may have one but there is something on that birth certificate – maybe religion, maybe it says he’s a Muslim, I don’t know.”) . Nine years later, he has come full circle with “Obamagate”, which accuses his predecessor of working in league with the “deep state” to frame Trump for colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election.

There is zero evidence for this claim. Indeed, a case could be made that the supposed “deep state” did more to help Trump than hurt him when the FBI reopened an investigation into his opponent, Hillary Clinton, just before election day. When questioned by reporters, Trump himself has struggled to articulate what “Obamagate” means. Ned Price, a former CIA analyst, dubbed it “a hashtag in search of a scandal”"

2011 is when Trump seemed to start his non-stop avenging of Obama in earnest. That was the same year that Obama roasted Trump at the White House Press Correspondents' Association dinner with Trump in the audience.

Since the 1980's, Trump has been engaging in an ongoing avenging of Vanity Fair for saying that he had small hands. Trump has repeatedly sent vanity fair photos of his hands with his hands circled using his classic Sharpie pen to try to prove they aren't small.

Trump also used a Sharpie pen to doctor a days-old government-issued hurricane track chart by adding a contour line to try to make it look like it was going to strike Alabama, a misleading act that could be considered a crime in multiple ways. It was an attempt to try to cover his mistake about saying Alabama could get hit worse than expected when the hurricane had already changed direction and was heading up the east coast, a fact Trump would have known if he had been paying attention instead of relaxing at his resort (as a candidate, Trump had promised to never leave the White House). An unsigned letter from NOAA later supported Trump's mistakes, indicating Trump coerced an unnamed official at NOAA to support him when he was wrong, another act that could be considered a crime.

He's building an even bigger, corrupt swamp full of yes-men and women. If you want to find any in his administration, look for a cluster of shoe soles sticking out of Rump's ass.

Knowing Trump, he will want attorney general Barr to prosecute anyone who tries to prosecute Flynn after Barr dropped the case.

Trump Cheers Supporters Who Harassed Reporter at Anti-Lockdown Protest: “Great People”

Trump Cheers Supporters Who Harassed Reporter at Anti-Lockdown Protest: “Great People”

    excerpt:

"When Kevin Vesey, a reporter with News 12 Long Island, posted a video of what he experienced an anti-lockdown protest in Commack, N.Y. earlier this week, he likely would have never imagined that none other than the president of the United States would tweet it approvingly. And not just once, but twice, pretty much endorsing the way his supporters all too often harass reporters at protests. If you haven’t seen it yet, Vesey’s video is shocking in its rawness. The reporter films as demonstrators, many of whom are wearing Trump paraphernalia, take part in the small protest and repeatedly heckle him and outright insult him as he walks among them. At one point, a maskless protester got close to Vesey. “I think you need to back away,” Vesey can be heard saying in the video. “No, I’ve got hydroxychloroquine,” the protester said as he continued to approach Vesey. “I’m fine.”"

Wilbur Ross …………..another billionaire crony pal of Rump's that has the "best interest of all Americans" as his guiding light. You know ………….. like all billionaires do - the Koch brothers (one now dead), Carl Icahn, Wilbur Ross, Betsy DeVoss & family, and a host of others, - by keeping everyone's pay good and LOW, making you pay for most or ALL of your health care because they can't afford to supply that as a benefit any longer. ( It affects their bottom lines, and delays the purchase of a second yacht, or an underground hideout bunker in New Zealand, or a 7th home on a privately owned island. Don't even ask about fueling and maintaining their private jets and helicopters.)

But they have YOUR BEST INTERESTS at heart.

Rump supporters ................. you know the "good Christians who 'follow Jesus' types." I'm also Christian and people who threaten, intimidate, endanger with spread of Covid-19, or do immediate violence to others are NOT acting as Christians. They just THINK they are. Their actions are deplorable & hate-filled. Christ-like??????? When did Jesus do any of those things??????

Watch for more violence to ensue. I'll predict more killings and murder charges. More beatings, cripplings, maybe riots. Putin has a non-stop boner. He's wished for this kind of division in the U.S. his whole life.

There are, sadly, numerous people and families that are homeless or in serious poverty because these "corporate titans" keep pay LOW - and benefits like health care or retirement plans that they would kick into - skimpy or non-existent. They and their own union - the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - collude to keep wages in any locale all right around the same ceiling. I've seen the evidence of this local pay "ceiling" in effect for decades. How is it that most jobs all pay around the same general amounts, regardless of skill sets and technical expertise??? Folks with a skilled trade or varieties of technical expertise making $1, $2, or $3 more per hour than someone unskilled. A WHOLE $120 per week = $6000 more per year before taxes for graduating from college or learning a skilled trade???? That's about $4000 per year after taxes. That's CRAP.

And how many people theses days have to work 2 jobs - and some even 3 jobs - just to make ends meet??? They can only keep a roof over their heads and food on the table - if even enough of that. Forget retirement savings, college savings, paying for health care insurance or medicine. I've read a nationally syndicated conservative columnist who said that people like that are either stupid, lazy, or they didn't go to the "right" school. I saved that newspaper article for my "TRUTH" scrapbook. It's in black & white print - and she said it.

Every once in a while the Repubs let their mouth run wild and things like that slip out. Like back in the 1980's when Leona Helmsley - a billionairess real estate mogul - said this, "Only the little people pay taxes!" She arrogantly boasted and showed what the filthy rich REALLY think of all of us peons. And we have one just like that in the White House.
