at least in Los Angeles area the looters were not part of the protests. In fact they probably don't know who George Floyd is.

 

They were all 20 something's, they don't vote anyway. If they did, most of them would vote Democrat

 

I think it looks like we're weak. Not saying anything may be pretty smart, but most Americans are probably wondering "what's this guy like".

I haven't been following that closely and don't live that close to Los Angeles. It's probably 65 miles to downtown.

 

Since Rump has been in office, racial tensions have increased significantly due to numerous comments Rump has made ("shithole countries" - "we need more people from countries like Norway to come here.....") - Norway being almost all white. Rump's various comments and actions run in stark contrast to his attempts to court non-white voters. It's like he's trying to win their votes by spitting in their faces and telling them he's their buddy.

This thread was about Trump and Covid-19 but the last three pages seem to belong in one of the threads about protests due to the death of George Floyd.

 

Trump just said in a matter of two hours that he would us troops on the American people who protest, and also claimed that MAGA people JUST LOVE BLACKS. When you find Blacks who believe that Bi-Polar fool, enlighten us.

 

Both are current national crisis caused by Trump.

Trump is the leader of the white supremacist and white nationalists. He's the one who pushed the idea of Obama's birth in Kenya and Indonesia. He's the one who called for the death penalty for five Black men who were falsely convicted.

 

States which have lifted Coronavirus related restrictions are now experiencing spikes in cases. Trump's demands for "opening" of the economy have caused the disease to spread. It is spreading mostly in Red states. The consequences for Trump's stupidity will be registered when early voting begins in 120 days.
