    I call BS...

He is a bad leader, VG.

You can argue until you're blue in the face and nothing will change that. There's no debate about whether or not Black people are treated equally or not (they aren't...), and yet he can't get behind it. Why?

The whole world can see what has happened/is happening in terms of current media coverage and past events. Any other leader would take this opportunity and address systemic racism in some way.

President Trump has failed to address racism on any level! And racism IS what we're talking about; not looting, and not domestic violence or vandalism or petty theft, larceny, or whatever else.

VG, people would eat it up if he were to mention racism. Even if they would go on to accuse him of insincerity or whatever else, how much worse would it be? We would all be on the same page...

You are absolutely correct. I thought some level of progress ha taken place in the US on the path toward equality. And then Barack Obama was elected and there was a huge vile smelling belch of latent racism in America. From the bluegrass of Kentucky to the cheese factories of Wisconsin large numbers of people chose to believe even the most despicable of social media posts. Obama was most certainly a President of intelligence and integrity but a lot of insecure under achieving people found him a target for their racism and hatred. I sincerely hope that the BLM movement can chip away at the status quo and get this nation on a path of real equality......be it in the precinct station or shop floor.

More evidence of being in a cult if you ask me. They still swear this guy is some sort of alpha male who runs into active shooter situations without a gun (his own words) but he can't even walk down the stairs. Pretty common thing in old man but of course only Biden can age. Trump is an immortal god right?

Ignoring all their other disillusions the age thing fascinates me. They speak of Bernie and Biden like they are angry teens and anyone over 30 must die but not with Trump. I wonder why.

So you mean to tell me the people who constantly threaten to use guns if you upset or annoy them are likely to use violence during political unrest? I am shocked. Waiting for Trump to speak about this terrorism. Do you think he will?

The Violent Extremist Threat That's Growing During Nationwide Protests | HuffPost

President Donald Trump has warned repeatedly that antifa, a favorite bogeyman, is behind the violence during recent waves of protest. But while scant evidence supports Trump’s claims, another loosely organized movement has become a prominent sideshow at nationwide demonstrations and been linked with attacks and plots to create chaos.

Adherents of the far-right movement known as Boogaloo have shown up at various protests sparked by the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, attempting to use the demonstrations to further their own cause and in some cases carrying rifles.

Boogaloo devotees have also carried out violent attacks against police. This week, a California district attorney said that Steven Carrillo, charged with the ambush shooting death of a sheriff’s deputy in California’s Santa Cruz County on June 6, had ties to the Boogaloo. Carrillo had written some of its slogans in blood on the hood of a nearby car before his arrest. Authorities are reportedly looking into whether Carrillo was connected to the May 29 shooting death of a security officer at the federal building in Oakland, California ― a shooting that occurred during a large protest in that city over Floyd’s killing.

The Boogaloo movement is a somewhat amorphous anti-government community that under its umbrella includes militias, gun rights activists, libertarians and white supremacists. What they share is a core set of symbols, terms and ideology centered on the belief a second civil war is coming to the U.S., as well as a fervent opposition to the state that extends to law enforcement. Some in the Boogaloo movement have expressed admiration for Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber, and David Koresh, the religious cult leader whose standoff with authorities led to a violent confrontation in Waco, Texas.

First of all, trump wasn't postulating, secondly some of his supporters did take his advice, and have a big gulp of bleach. You don't suppose they were morons do you?

I saw an interview with a BLM leader, in Seattle. She said they oppose the takeover.

Defund the police does not equal zero people to stop crime just that what we now call police will not be needed much of the time because they are not trained or willing to deal with it. It's interesting to me how quickly the conservative shows their limited thinking.

This is the beloved free market solving a problem. The police do not provide good service.

    Lolz, lolz lolz

    What the hell?

All of a sudden magically police won't be needed as much. Huh?

I tell you what, how about a little experiment. Red states can keep their police as is. Blue states can cut funding and watch what happens

Trump continues his war with Comcast.

Trump's latest target on Twitter: Comcast
Analysis by Brian Stelter, CNN Business
Updated 12:05 AM ET, Sun June 14, 2020

Analysis: President Trump's tweet urging followers to drop Comast is "an abuse of power." - CNN

    excerpt:

"Still, the president's missive was yet another example of his yearslong effort to punish media companies for news coverage he doesn't like.

In June 2019, he proposed a boycott of CNN's parent company AT&T. The company's stock surged on the day of his tweet.

In recent months he has targeted Comcast, one of the country's top providers of broadband and cable TV, and the owner of NBC News and MSNBC. He has nicknamed the company "Concast" in nearly a dozen tweets since March. And he has dubbed MSNBC, known for its liberal programs, as "MSDNC," a reference to the Democratic Party."

Trump has trouble lifting glass of water and walking down stairs at West Point graduation

    excerpts:

    "He’s trembling again.

President Trump struggled to lift a glass of water Saturday during his speech to U.S. Military Academy graduates at West Point.

Trump started to lift the glass with his right hand but seemed unable to guide it all the way up to his lips.

The president used his left hand to steady the glass and tilt it into his mouth."

"He also had difficulty pronouncing the name of iconic World War II Gen. Douglas McArthur."

"He appeared unable to stand still during a solemn ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day. Some observers noted that he had difficulties lifting a wreath with his right arm."

What if he is right though? What if sitting back and letting the left tear itself apart is the right strategy

Of course it's about looting. They fucked up, it will just make racism worse, and the police crack down harder later on

And it's always about domestic violence. Defunding the police, even the mere mention of that, how dumb can they be?

Trump had an opportunity to speak out against a violent act of a man who drove his car into protesters who were countering a white supremecist event, killiing a woman.

He instead made a vague remark that there are fine people on both sides.

Man who drove car into crowd, killing one at Charlottesville protest sentenced to life
James Alex Fields Jr. pleaded guilty in March to 29 of 30 hate crimes in connection with the 2017 attack that killed Heather Heyer

Life sentence for killing at Charlottesville protest

    excerpt:

"Fields drove from his home in Maumee, Ohio, to attend the “Unite the Right” rally on Aug. 12, 2017, which drew hundreds of white nationalists to Charlottesville to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Hundreds of counterprotesters showed up as well.

President Donald Trump sparked controversy when he blamed the violence at the rally on “both sides,” a statement that critics saw as a refusal to condemn racism."

"Is anyone taking a knee for David Dorn?

Dorn was African American. He was unjustly killed. His life mattered too, didn’t it?

But there aren’t any protests for Dorn, no public kneeling in his memory.

Dorn, 77, was a retired St. Louis police captain. The other night, as violence raged in St. Louis, Dorn was alerted to an alarm at a friend’s pawnshop.

He did what law enforcement officers are expected to do. Dorn answered the call. He tried to stop a gang of looters. The details are incomplete, but we do know he was shot to death.

    And there is video.

He’s stretched out on the sidewalk. The looters rolled in and out, taking what they could grab. Someone recorded a video as he lay there. It was broadcast on Facebook.

The video is 13 minutes long. It is a horrible thing to see. A younger man speaks encouraging words to the older man as he lay dying."

Column: Will anyone take a knee for retired police Capt. David Dorn?

Sorry unfocused, I don’t know where you get your information from regarding the military, but black people are not over represented in the military. From the data I have seen, it is either inline with demographics or they are under represented. If half the population is women, should 50 percent of the military be women? No matter how media on the left wants to spin things, no matter how you want to spin things, I really don’t get your point here. Are you saying calling in the military will have service men And women who won’t do their job because of their ethnicity? Or should not go in because of their ethnicity? What is the point of This? That the minorities in the military are all left wing so they should not do their job they signed up for because the head is right wing? Seems to me you do not know the number of black service men in the military either. 70% are classified as white, 16% are classified as black. Who gets use to hearing the N word? How do you know this? Racism does exists in every ethnicity, every country, as you pointed out. It isn’t reserved for the So called white right. It would be great if this word doesn’t hold any powe, but they do to some people.. I guess I am missing the point other than you saying that the military, everyone one in it, that they are all racist people and hate? Trump didn’t bring ethnicity into it, you did though. Trying to divide the military, are you?

    I don't think he's right.

Addressing only the looting is reprehensible imo. Domestic violence shouldn't ever go unmentioned. If he were really stepping up to the plate there would be mention of all these things...

If he's picking and choosing, is that what we want? I don't want a president that puts that much "spin" on the news cycle. It's fake.

And having concern for looting but not racism is more f'd up, imo.

It isn’t concern for looting. It is murder in this case. Both are murder. Just because he had a badge on doesn’t mean the police are all the enemy. Just look at those people who threw rocks at peoples cars, one stopped and they instantly said, call the police. These rioters, oh call the police. It is complete disregard for who is considered the enemy. The enemy has been viewed as the right. Seems to me that the media who promotes this divide is the true enemy, which are mostly left wing controlled. They have brought about bigotry and hatred. Even just the sight of a badge gets people angry today. They have widened the divide of them and us. Who cares about them? They are racist fuckers anyways. Racism must die. How do you know Trump is racist?

how many times have you heard in your life, the only good cop is a dead cop? I do not agree with this. Or blm chanting pigs in a blanket, fly em like bacon. What do you think this message is?

if I saw someone chatting the only good black person, is a dead Black person or fry black people like fried chicken, I would say they are racist fuckers and don’t deserve to be in my presence, or in societies presence. Same thing goes for the only good white person is dead one.
