if it doesn't gratify anything for me, doesn't make me feel any happier, healthier or wise, and it isn't free, why would i spend money on emparing my judgement, when i can spend the same money, on something that does? no particularly big deal otherwise, just really the absence of any sort of attraction. in the 70s and 80s people would off each other a free hit of the herb, that was cool, and wine is fine, but again, the last time i had intentionally anything alky, was at a thanksgiving potluck at a furry's house, must have been something like about five or six years ago. there's just so many things i enjoy so much more. mostly stuff to build little scale models of things and doing so inside the computer. i would like though, to live where i could have a garden, or even just look out my window and see gardens or forest, and maybe be able to watch trains go by without a bunch of cars blocking my view. and where i could let whatever little furry creatures come and go as they see fit. i'd like to get a 3d printer. i had one once upon a time, but it gave out on me. if i had the space, and i'd like to, i'd have a desktop cnc milling machine and one of those little lazer cutting units too. i just like the idea of making things that are like how i invision in my mind that i like to see them. and of course being things that are part of my vision of a wider world in which everyone could enjoy living without diminishing that in any way for anyone else.
Nax does wonderful work on furries. I remember seeing his earlier 3D printed models too and I was shocked. Same with his virtual reality worlds.
Help out as many people as I could, family, friends & charities. I know a lot who could use a hand. Never really been into material things other than always wanting the coolest surf boards. Fix up my Jeep a little, she’s tired but I like her cause it was my dad’s. The only thing I’d probably splurge on is a small piece of land with an ocean view. Then I’d have a conservative home built.
I saw this thread in passing yesterday. Didn't realize it was yours too! Lol Oh man! If only ikes were money! Well, lol, right now I'd spend it on therapy.

If I had all kinds of money, I would definitely get one of these for my girlfriend... and for me? I think a new pair of shades.
Well I like fast cars, so I think she would be pleased. As for shades, I like my Raybans I have had the same pair for years.
I am partial to the two-door coupe version BMW. Lol. & my sunglasses are from a gas station. I've upgraded before though. We have a retailer called Sunglass Hut who allows returns of used sunglasses in their original condition. I always end up taking them back to use the money for something else; groceries or gas or something I find important. I can't wear expensive sunglasses. At least I haven't had any success with it so far.
If you ever go to any European beach resort, there are these guys that pester selling, sunglasses, fake watches, and all sorts of fake crap. They are SO annoying.
I hope I go to Europe again. Sadly, my parents are old so it would be a solo endeavor. & I don't have a big appetite for travel. Maybe Ibiza, but I admit I'm less interested in it now that I've thought it all over. I think the hardest thing is letting go of preconceived notions, spending freely, enjoying. For whatever reason, potential culture clash is a factor for me first and foremost. Then it's money. When I was planning a vacation to Ibiza last summer (planning for this last May, but cancelled) I tended to want to micromanage every aspect. Sure, it's smart to plan ahead, but I found that nothing felt spontaneous. I concluded that travel, particularly international travel, is a big responsibility.
