Trump is now wearing a mask when he goes out, which means he knows he was wrong. He'll never admit it, but wearing a mask is an admission on its own.
Or he just wore the mask because he was actually visiting Covid patients at the time "WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump wore a mask during a visit to a military hospital on Saturday, the first time the president has been seen in public with the type of facial covering recommended by health officials as a precaution against spreading or becoming infected by the novel coronavirus. Trump flew by helicopter to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in suburban Washington to meet wounded servicemembers and health care providers caring for COVID-19 patients. "
This will not go down well with the hephatrump !!! Mueller defends Russia probe, says Stone remains a felon David Bell Jul 12th 2020 4:45AM AP- Former special counsel Robert Mueller sharply defended his investigation into ties between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, writing in a newspaper opinion piece Saturday that the probe was of "paramount importance" and asserting that a Trump ally, Roger Stone, "remains a convicted felon, and rightly so" despite the president's decision to commute his prison sentence. The op-ed in The Washington Post marked Mueller's first public statement on his investigation since his congressional appearance last July. It represented his firmest defence of the two-year probe whose results have come under attack and even been partially undone by the Trump administration, including the president's extraordinary move Friday evening to grant clemency to Stone just days before he was due to report to prison. 25 PHOTOS Donald Trump in controversial photo op See Gallery Mueller wrote that though he had intended for his team's work to speak for itself, he felt compelled to "respond both to broad claims that our investigation was illegitimate and our motives were improper, and to specific claims that Roger Stone was a victim of our office. "The Russia investigation was of paramount importance. Stone was prosecuted and convicted because he committed federal crimes. He remains a convicted felon, and rightly so," Mueller wrote. Mueller did not specify who was making the claims, but it appeared to be an obvious reference to Trump, who as recently as Saturday derided the investigation as this "whole political witch hunt and the Mueller scam." The mere publication of the op-ed was striking for a former FBI director who was exceedingly tight-lipped during the investigation, refusing to respond to attacks by the president or his allies or to make public appearances explaining or justifying his work. In his first public statement after the investigation's conclusion, Mueller said he intended for his 448-page report to speak for itself. When he later testified to House lawmakers, he was similarly careful not to stray beyond the report's findings or offer new evidence. But that buttoned-up approach created a void for others, including at the Justice Department, to place their own stamp on his work. Even before the report was released Attorney General William Barr issued a four-page summary document that Mueller privately complained did not adequately capture the gravity of his team's findings. In the months since, Barr assigned a U.S. attorney to investigate the origins of the Russia probe, and the Justice Department moved to dismiss the criminal case against former Trump administration national security adviser Michael Flynn even though Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about contacts with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition period. That request is the subject of an ongoing court dispute. The op-ed chronicled the basis for the Stone prosecution, with Mueller recounting how Stone had not only tampered with a witness but also lied repeatedly about his efforts to gain inside information about Democratic emails that Russian intelligence operatives stole and provided to WikiLeaks, which published them in the run-up to the election. Those efforts, including his discussions with Trump campaign associates about them, cut to the heart of Mueller's mandate to determine whether anyone tied to the campaign coordinated with Russia in the hacking or disclosure of the stolen Democratic emails. Stone was particularly central to the investigation, Mueller writes, because he claimed to have inside knowledge about WikiLeaks' release of the emails and because he communicated during the campaign with people known to be Russian intelligence officers. He also updated members of the Trump campaign about the timing of the WikiLeaks releases, something that he denied. "We did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government in its activities," Mueller wrote. "The investigation did, however, establish that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome. It also established that the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts." Stone was found guilty last fall of witness tampering, false statements and obstructing a congressional investigation into Russian election interference. He was sentenced in February to 40 months in prison and was due to surrender on Tuesday, until the president commuted his sentence. "Roger Stone was treated horribly. Roger Stone was treated very unfairly," Trump told reporters on Saturday. He was one of six former Trump associates or advisers to be convicted in the Russia investigation. In total, the investigation produced charges against 34 individuals, including 25 Russians accused either of hacking into Democratic email accounts or engaging in a covert social media campaign to divide American public opinion ahead of the election.
QUESTION: What's the point of having Law and Order if that dumb prat in the White House pardons all those convicted of serious crimes against the people ???
Trump's version of law and order. Trump suddenly has an interest in history and culture. He threatened 10 years in prison for anyone who vandalizes a statue. He also said that he will try to charge and sentence people retroactively with the new punishment. A couple weeks later, he commuted Stone who was convicted of 7 felony counts whose original sentence was expected to be 7 to 9 years before Attorney General Barr helped reduce it to about 3 years. Barr short-circuited the results of his own prosecutors. Trump retroactively removed Stone's punishment after saying he will retroactively punish statue vandals with a new ten-year sentence. Trump threatens 10 years of jail time for people who vandalize monuments, statues By David Sherfinski - The Washington Times Tuesday, June 23, 2020 Trump threatens 10 years of jail time for people who vandalize monuments, statues excerpt: "Mr. Trump said Tuesday that people caught destroying or defacing statues or monuments on federal property will face up to 10 years behind bars. He later said his administration will consider imposing stiff sentences “retroactively” on people who vandalized monuments on federal land but weren’t charged at the time. “We’re going to look at that from the standpoint of retroactivity,” Mr. Trump said during a stop in Yuma, Arizona. “We can go back and look at some of the damage they’ve done, but largely it’s state damage because the states have been very weak, extremely weak in protecting their heritage and protecting their culture.”"

Spray paint a statue, a misdemeanor, and get ten years. Commit seven felons, including threatening to murder a witness, to protect Donald Trump...and get your sentence commuted. Sounds logical to Trump fans.
We in the United States of America will start early voting in 79 days or less in some states, regardless of what fake Australians and white supremacists think..
In four months, Trump will be out on his ass and in addition will be subject to prosecution by the state of New York. What are you going to do then? In an earlier post I suggested you go on a Walkabout, I now take that back because I just remembered how the movie ended...lol...

You do understand, I hope, that I was giving the figure of Americans killed in different events, and your figure is including non-Americans, as well. If we include non-Americans killed by Covid 19 worldwide, the figure so far is 557,510, which would be right up there with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yes, those lives matter! But my previous post was in regard to your effort to trivialize the numbers of deaths in the U.S., so I was comparing those with deaths which we Americans would understand are not trivial. We in the United States do consider it tragic to lose so many of our people in foreign wars. And the virus is catching up! I amended the figure I gave previously (over 130,000) quoted to "over 135,000", to include the count this weekend. Tsunamis come and go, but the virus keeps marching on. Yes, other things kill more people, but what's your point? 135,000 and climbing is still a lot of dead people.
Trump supporters praised Trump for demanding states re-open --whatever that means to a Republican-- and they even took their guns to protest Democratic governors like the one in Michigan. Some Republican governors heeded Trump's call and started allowing people to visit beaches and go to church, or the tavern. All that was around Memorial Day. Now approximately 50 days later, several of these Republican led states are reporting staggering rates of new Coronavirus infections. Some of these Early Re-opener states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona are reporting full hospitals, and no Intensive Care space at all. Some of these Early Re-opener states are reported to have started placing dead bodies in refrigerated trucks, because their morgues are full. And that Dip-Shit in Washington is saying everything is just great!
The portion of wall that is badly degraded was built by Fisher Industries of North Dakota which was selected by Trump. Fisher has little experience in building such structures. The slimy politics of Trump and his wall. Fisher Industries From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Fisher Industries - Wikipedia excerpt: "Fisher Industries is a privately held construction company based in Dickinson, North Dakota, led by Tommy Fisher. It is a child company of Fisher Sand and Gravel.[1] President Donald Trump has lobbied for the company to receive contracts on the US-Mexico Trump wall, to the Department of Homeland Security, to Todd T. Semonite of the Army Corps of Engineers, and promoted the company in an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity.[2] Jared Kushner has also endorsed the company, as well as freshman North Dakota senator Kevin Cramer, to whose campaign the Fisher family contributed $10,000.[3] Tommy Fisher has appeared on local and conservative TV and radio and is a donor to several charities and the Republican Party.[3][4] Senator Cramer suggested Fisher's Fox News appearances are what attracted Trump to the company. The High Plains Reader has documented environmental violations and tax evasion by the company, including 169 citations and paying $1 million in air quality violation fines in Maricopa County, Arizona over the past 10 years. In 2009 Michael Fisher, then-owner of Fisher, pled guilty to nine counts of felony tax fraud, [5] being sentenced to 37 months in prison and over $300,000 in restitution. The comptroller also pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States in 2009. Another former head of the company, David William Fisher, pled guilty in 2005 to child pornography and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.[1] He was released on April 30, 2010.[6]"
Post of a blogger: "Fisher Industries was only awarded the contract to build the border wall because of Trump's praise for the company and their loyalty to Trump, so if the work on the border wall is shoddy, there is nobody to blame but Trump. There is also an ongoing investigation into how Fisher Industries was able to secure the contract for construction of the border wall because Fisher Industries contract estimate was higher than most others and Fisher Industries does not have the construction experience in large projects like construction of a 2,000+ mile border wall. This will end up being another example of the unprecedented corruption that has permeated the Trump presidency since day one."
