Trump's Response to COVID-19

Rump will risk the lives and safety of the American people to improve the Covid-19 case numbers being reported. It's ALL for his political fortune and the much-sought-after-fame he longs for.

 

I guess I see the proposed payroll tax cuts as a way to defund Social Security. Payroll tax is deducted from each paycheck. To cut the amount that's deducted, you effect Social Security & Medicare; two issues that have traditionally been democratic talking points, and it has some other stuff in their too like the school district taxes, disability, unemployment, etc. These are social programs that need funding.

They essentially propose to let Americans use money from these safety-net programs to kickstart the economy. But what becomes of the safety-net?

 

It is my opinion that the Electoral College will put Biden in office after a narrow popular vote win. Give it about three to six months before his own Party moves to 25th Amendment his ass. From there, your president will be who the Dems wanted all along - Biden's running mate (which is why I believe that's the individual you need to really pay attention to). Again, just my opinion.

You are definitely correct in the notion it will be African American. I believe that will be the only way unity is brought to this country.

But he has already said he was going to pick a woman for seemingly only a diversity quota reason

So if he doesnt pick an african american woman of full colour that will leave a bad taste in many peoples mouths after the george floyd riots: minus 3% of votes when they are stressing about a 5-8% lead

They didn't shift until a week after George Floyd died. Coronavirus response didn't seem to have much of an impact on those odds up until then

Back to daily bat virus briefings shifts attention away from federal troops in Portland and perhaps Chicago and the whole BLM thing

Even when it comes to the bat virus itself, Trump and his handlers no doubt have noticed the dwindling death rate

 

You know that adjusts revenue for the Medicare, Social Security, unemployment, and probably other programs. I read something earlier about it even effecting the education department. I had no idea we were funding it that way, but I believe it. And I think it's a good way.

Messing with everyone's safety-net should not get through Congress.

 

If Trump won't sign a bill unless it has that provision it's dead in the water from the get go. Doesn't matter what congress does...

 

Gotta have more tax cuts for rich people or Trump won't sign it. Poor people can just find something new, according to economics expert, Ivanka Trump.

 

It only goes for working people, but you're right about it screwing the poor. The cut comes out of the social security and medicare revenue pool

Yeah, I thought as much, straight into breakdowns of mortality rates from the get go. He is addressing two different groups at the same time. Still referring to it as the Chyna virus though

I tuned in for a few today. Trump was just reading off a promoter and didn’t say anything too crazy by his standards.

Problem is when Trump reads prepared remarks he makes Biden look high energy.

Both him and the CNN mention the number of cases, but not once do either mention the mortality rate

Fauci is also questioned on the problems with turnaround times for testing but never gives an answer, likely because he doesnt know. Also fails to mention any of the other problens inherent with contract tracing

Also as usual, no mention of preparations in the lead up to winter
