If we just give all the rich people the money they will decide to share it. Brought to you by the same people who say socialism is bad because people are greedy.

Laws and tax=bad tyranny where everyone is poor
no regulation= a society beyond what socalisn can be is made because it followed socialist principals.

Well, well, well, did Fauci 'lean' on Hephatrump to change his mind about wearing masks and being more responsive to Covid - 19 virus ???

Scientists report that airborne coronavirus is probably infectious

Things are looking bad - as in more contagious - on the coronavirus front.

We have since the beginning of this been keenly aware that the disease was contagious. Now, even more so. Scientists have discovered that the disease can replicate from within "droplets" (why in the world are we calling them droplets? if they are suspended in the air they clearly defy gravity, and are not "dropping" per se) less than 5 microns in size. Those (again with the "droplets") droplets are small enough to be suspended in the air.

the scientists propose that these extra small droplets are expelled during the course of breathing & casual conversation as opposed to sneezing or coughing.

EDIT: Is it just me, or is the term "droplets" a bit of a misnomer?

Looks like Fauci is out of the picture now. The department he was head of just is one of 27 in their HHS. There are a lot of guys, and gals that out rank him

Someone was obviously supplying Trump with info for this latest briefing, and that's likely from someone who outranks Fauci

Most of them political hacks and sychophants. They may outrank him, but will anyone believe them?

I expect Trump to bring out a chiropractor who is of course a "doctor" to say the virus is a hoax. I've noticed the only trusted medical source now among the right is the chiropractor because many of them are writing notes about masks. They also kind of dabble with the holistic medicine. They are the anti-doctor which is great if you hate science.

Republicans scrap Trump’s demand for payroll tax cut as they cobble together draft coronavirus bill
This sounds good to me, but I'm wondering what's being left out to shelter against the cost-burden. There was a mention of the Tea Party taking aim at a ballooning deficit with Ted Cruz in tow saying the phrase "hell no" about something or other as it related to more spending. I think that's sort of a narrow focus for these times. We need big spending right now.

I know this is slightly off topic but since you mentioned the Tea Party.

A couple of hours ago I walked past the replicate of the original tea party ship from 1773 while in the seaport district of Boston.

The problem with a payroll tax cut it specificity cuts funding for social security and Medicare......not good. It would eventually lead to a reduction in benefits for recipients. These programs have been a target of mean ol conservatives since FDR and LBJ. You didn’t think Trump was legit on this did you?

I feel like it would be ok as long as they pay it back later and tell us now how they plan to do that. But from what I just read on CNN the payroll tax cut idea has been shelved.

Glad to hear that the Idea was discarded but be aware that they will be back. Every time I see older Tea Party people supporting Republicans it obvious they are oblivious......they flunked logic and replaced it with the absurd idea that everyone will lose but they will win. Go figure.
