"(CNN)A house party in New Jersey was so packed with partygoers openly flouting the state's Covid-19 crowd guidelines this weekend that it took police officers over 5 hours to break it up.

The bust occurred on Sunday at around 8:30 p.m., when police officers arrived at a house in Jackson that was being rented out through Airbnb, according to a statement by Captain Steven Laskiewicz posted on the Jackson Police Department's Facebook page."

The same thing happened in Chatham Massachusetts on Cape Cod

Ten people have reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus after attending a house party on Cape Cod with between 30 and 50 people earlier this month.

Chatham's health director told the Globe that the cluster of cases all appear to be related to a July 12 party involving a group of people who work together in the restaurant industry. The attendees were apparently not wearing masks, and all but one of those who tested positive was from out of town.

Ok, 1st one says 14 people were infected from a family gathering in mid June, let's say 15th June. 2nd one says 10 people were infected from a party attended by 30 to 50 people

And the US has seen an extra 2,100,000 people test positive for the virus since 15th June

So those two stories cover 24 of those 2,100,000

Sprinkle in some 2nd amendment culture where revolt and war is the norm for political rivals and you get death threats for a doctor who is apparently a pawn for the Democratic party. He lies about a deadly virus that the entire world also says is real just to offend dear leader Trump. They hate America the country they and their their families live in so much they make it al up. It's only right you defend the nation and kill the doctor.

I don’t get all the hand wringing about masks or any other specific covid countermeasures. The reality is all of the measures have some reduction in the probability of infection...so intelligent people would do their best with all of them and not worry about the specifics of masks, social distancing, hand washing etc. Since there is no medical treatment or vaccine available now, doing without the countermeasures is not very smart.....and verging on criminal in terms of transmitting covid to others.
