Exactly what I said, there would be thousands more people around the world who have been studying coronaviruses, including Sars-CoV-2 that are more qualified than Fauci

 

According to all the Trump supporters that live where I live? All they got out of this is "The virus is a hoax...Trump said so"

So you can dance around all you want and say "he didn't call it a hoax" But you don't live here, you don't hear what these people with their selective hearing say when bitching about the empty store isles or having to wear a mask...

So suck it up, snowflake, the Trump supporters around here think it's a hoax because glorious leader said it was a hoax... You are welcome to come over here and explain to them what it is he "said exactly" and "what he meant to say" but they will nod their heads and continue to call the virus a hoax.

But President Trump never said the virus itself was a hoax, how different people interpret what he said, well that's another matter

Obamas way, certain minorities miss out because local demographics have to reflect national ones

Trump's way, Asian and Indian Americans get preference because they on average are wealthy than white, black or Hispanic americans

As of 2nd August, US has conducted 56.8 million tests, China isn't reporting so the next country on the list is India with 19.8 million tests

Well, I should say Trump is correct as long as those anti-body surveys are correct and you have 20 times the number infected in a current hotspot. Push up the number of tests, and of course you are going to get more positive results

Also has the effect of pushing down the current deaths to active cases ratio so it now looks like the death rate is 1/10th of what it was in NY in April even though that's not technically correct

It goes viral because the dumbass (Australian ) interviewer has a confused look on his face, left wing media jump on it too early with out thinking. Try to be smart and make fun of it

But Trump is right, that much more testing compared to seemingly every other country, and you are going to capture a greater percentage of that otherwise undiscovered asymptomatic count the anti-body surveys suggest

(Wow, Spain in comparison, as hard as they've been hit, still have only done 4.6 million tests)

What Trump really should have done though is mention the antibody surveys in there as well, that would have sent the media scrambling and they would have actually had to explain that for once

Looks like a case of the telephone game effect.... One person says one thing to another person, then that person says their version of the facts to someone else. At the end of the day, you've got 3rd, 4th, 5th-hand information and the facts have been entirely misconstrued.

I think it's fair to point out though that even characterizing coronavirus concern as a democratic effort to sideline the President's agenda is wildly and hopelessly inaccurate.

The sky is green, the ocean is a dry mirage, and the sun revolves around the earth - which is flat by the way ......................... because the "glorious leader" has proclaimed it. This is the Rump supporter cosmos. Facts and science have no place in their dream-world. Reality is an evolving, moving target as the "glorious leader" decides it to be in a constantly-changing time-line. LSD with it's imaginary hallucinations & ideas has NOTHING on the orange one.

 

I'll agree with Tyrsonswood's assessment of Rump supporters being willfully blind to facts. I had a Corona virus hoax believer tell me to my face, "My buddy works in a doctor's office. He said those masks don't do a f-ing thing."

A highly placed source of cutting-edge infectious disease science ................... "my buddy." I wonder what "my buddy's" boss ........... the actual doctor - would have said concerning masks. You know they wear masks in hospitals and surgical operating rooms just for show, right??

This advice / info is the opposite of what doctors everywhere are telling people - and HAVE BEEN for months. If you can't own up to the fact that you voted for and believe in an incompetent asshole, you stick to your guns and seek the truth from "my buddy."
