That one is no doubt a bit more calculated than most people initially realise; because you know what happens next; next up on CNN - just how immune are kids to Covid? We bring you this exclusive report
Trump is now on the record for saying, " if we didn't test so much, we wouldn't have so many Chinese virus cases!" His claim is irrational and over simplification of a global medical catastrophe. It is no different than saying: If we didn't test for blood sugar, we wouldn't have so many diabetics. And if we didn't test for cancer, the sick people would just go away. How about ending the safety inspections for bridges over the Mississippi River? Would they not fall like that bridge in Minnesota? I've always known that Republicans claimed racial discrimination did not exist in America; consequently, in their belief, no anti-discrimination laws were needed. So again, they think if we don't have so many civil rights laws, we wouldn't have so many civil rights cases? How about Gonorrhea? Should America stop testing so it also disappears?
so that's all you care about, the world economy. You know what, the world economy doesn't care about you. his argument is that Black, and Hispanics in 'murica are overweight, and have poor diets, so they are more susceptible to contacting Covid 19. He convienently leaves out that overweight whites are just as susceptible. Of course that doesn't meet his narrative. He really shows how biased he is, more and more, each day.
I've noticed he and his white Christian flock are never wrong and make no effort to hide from everyone their desire to establish the all white Kingdom of God on Earth.
Trump is still proffering unsubstantiated hyperbole remarks about widespread voter fraud. Trump: ‘I’m doing the country a big favor’ with my conspiracy theories about voter fraud By Matthew Chapman Published on August 5, 2020 Trump: ‘I’m doing the country a big favor’ with my conspiracy theories about voter fraud excerpt: "At Wednesday’s White House briefing on coronavirus, President Donald Trump was once again asked about his conspiracy theories about mail-in ballot fraud, in light of his move to sue the state of Nevada to stop an expansion of the practice. When confronted with his previous lie that Nevada isn’t checking signatures, Trump doubled down, saying it would be “physically impossible” to verify the ballots. He then repeated, for the third day in a row, his complaints about the New York primary process — and when a reporter pointed out to him that the delays in ballot reporting isn’t evidence of fraud, he replied, “well, you’re reading a different newspaper than me.” He added that “I’m doing the country a big favor” by talking about these issues."
Trump needs to first locate the alleged 3 million illegal votes that he says when to Hillary. Kobach's commission produced nothing. Trump has had about three and a half years to substantiate his claim.
Errrrr, that I am biased towards the plight of brown people in the third world over retired entitled white and 7/8ths white first worlders posting crap on the internet, who don't have a job to give up, don't really have to sacrifice any thing, expect young people throw away their futures... Yes, you didn't get this already?
It's totally rational Because with all the examples you have given we don't have a hidden majority that have yet to be tested With cancer, you don't have 20 times the number of cancer sufferers running around yet to be tested. Asymptomatic carriers, antibody testing, you've heard of these things And it's not like he has actually instructed any one in any health department to actually not test as much And the US has tested three times more people than the nearest country. You test more, you uncover a higher percentage of those hidden infected Do you not understand this? It's why you have 5 times the number of cases, as you did back in April while currently having 1/3 the number of deaths you had in April 500k active cases, 3000 deaths a day in April 2.3 million active cases, 1000 deaths a day in August A mortality rate that's dropped by 90% Also has the added advantage of, although it didn't disappear in the warmer weather, it certainly damn well looks a whole lot less deadly You can't have it both ways either he is wrong about the amount of testing currently skewing the numbers, or he is wrong about the warmer weather having an impact, but he can't be wrong about both at the same time
Hospitals in Texas and Florida were supposed to be overwhelmed and they were going to convert baseball stadiums and set up field hospitals 6 weeks ago How is that working out? Didn't happen, oh what a surprise Couldn't be that some "experts" weren't telling the truth, or didn't know what they were talking about could it?
PolitiFact: Trump said children are ‘almost immune’ from coronavirus. That’s not accurate. Children represent about 7.3 percent of COVID-19 cases in the U.S and less than 0.1 percent of deaths, according to the CDC. By Amy Sherman August 6, 2020 PolitiFact: Trump said children are ‘almost immune’ from coronavirus. That’s not accurate. excerpt: "Mark Schleiss, a University of Minnesota professor of pediatrics, said Trump is wrong on two counts: his statement about immunity and his suggestion that children are less likely to catch the germ than adults. "Immunity means that your immune system has some sense of history with having encountered the germ before, and hence can fight it off," he said. "Well, what's the biological plausibility that any person would have immunity to a virus that didn't even exist until a few months ago? And how could you have immunity to it if you never even encountered it before? So, as a pediatrician, immunologist and vaccine researcher, the statement is absurd, and unequivocally incorrect." Schleiss pointed to a research letter published in The Journal of the American Medical Association by Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Researchers examined 145 cases of mild to moderate COVID-19 illness and found children younger than 5 years have much higher levels of genetic material for the virus in their noses compared to older children and adults. Authors concluded that young children can potentially be important drivers of the virus spread, which causes concern for educators."
PolitiFact: Trump said children are ‘almost immune’ from coronavirus. That’s not accurate. excerpt: "Experts also pointed to the rapid spread of COVID-19 at an overnight camp in Georgia. Test results were available for 344 (58 percent) attendees; among these, 260 (76 percent) were positive. While children are in closer proximity to each other at overnight camp than a school, experts say it still serves as a warning about reopening schools. “That is not what we would expect of a group who were ‘almost immune,’” Levine said. Andrew Noymer, an epidemiologist at the University of California, Irvine, said Trump has a point in that children get sick at low rates, but his overall statement is misleading. The main fear about reopening schools is how it will spread to teachers and parents. “The idea schools can open and everything is going to be hunky dory, sort of a summary of the president’s intended message, that is misleading,” Noymer said. “I am worried kids can catalyze the pandemic even worse than it already is in terms of an engine of generating infection of adults.”"
