"U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero Thursday rejected Trump’s claims that the subpoena, from a state grand jury looking into payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election, was issued in bad faith and is over-broad.

"We will appeal,” the president’s personal lawyer Jay Sekulow said in a text message.

The case was back before Marrero after the U.S. Supreme Court last month rejected Trump’s argument that he’s immune to state criminal investigations. In a new complaint filed after that decision, the president called for the subpoenas to be tossed as “wildly overbroad.” He claims the investigation is limited to the hush payments made by his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Daniels, who says she had sex with Trump, and that Vance is seeking unrelated evidence to harass the president."

Steven Bannon was recently arrested for fraud. Three of Bannon's associates were indicted.

 

Trump is expected to say that there are good people on all sides.

"Mariah Billado, Miss Teen Vermont 1997 told BuzzFeed, “I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here.'” Three other teenage contestants from the same year confirmed the story. The former pageant contestants discussed their memories of the incident after former Miss Arizona Tasha Dixon told Los Angeles’ CBS affiliate that Trump entered the Miss USA dressing room in 2001 when she was a contestant.

“He just came strolling right in,” Dixon said. “There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Others girls were naked. Our first introduction to him was when we were at the dress rehearsal and half-naked changing into our bikinis.”

Dixon went on to say that employees of the Miss Universe Organization encouraged the contestants to lavish Trump with attention when he came in. “To have the owner come waltzing in, when we’re naked, or half-naked, in a very physically vulnerable position and then to have the pressure of the people that worked for him telling us to go fawn all over him, go walk up to him, talk to him, get his attention…”"

His position as the pageant’s owner entitled him to that kind of access, Trump explained, seemingly aware that what he was doing made the women uncomfortable. “You know, no men are anywhere. And I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant. And therefore I’m inspecting it… Is everyone OK? You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible-looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that,” he said"

 

Those remarks along with his 'grab women by the crotch' statement don't offer much confidence in his denials of his tinkering with porn stars.

Trump's porn star issue and his clandestine payments spawned the criminal investigation which caused prosecutors to need to see his tax returns which Trump has been fighting vehemently.

 

...and that Bannon is being treated unfairly.

 

You just don't get it, huh? What the problem is here is obvious. It is not about right or left or conservative or liberal. It's about the type of speech. Any political speech is not protected, if Goodyear says so. It is their property. You can scream and shout and whine all you want. At Goodyear's property things are not the same as Free Speech at the shopping mall. The mall might be privately owned by a group of investors but according to the Pruneyard case they invite the public so it is a public place and the public can speak freely. At Goodyear, their property is not a public place. They don't have to please you. They can say an LGBQT T-Shirt is not political, or a BLM T-shirt is not political; but, a MAGA hat is without doubt political.

 

Bannon's arrest will remind voters that an entire troop of Trump's inner circle is just a bunch of criminals. It looks like Bannon and another man siphoned off a considerable chunk of cash from donations intended for Trump's stupid border wall. The same set of laws will be used on Trump himself in just months.

 

trump is so stupid, he will pardon him before the trial starts.
