If Trump wins another term, it will be curtains for the U.S. Nobody will win except Putin. The country will ultimately be ungovernable. All those values we purported to hold dear--democracy, the rule of law, liberty and justice for all, etc., will vanish. And what will be left? A vibrant economy? I doubt it. let's see how secure the Trumpsters are when they have to sleep with one eye open.
Trump won Kenosha county in 2016, the first Republican presidential candidate to do so since 1972. Trump to travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday By Jeremy Diamond and Kate Sullivan, CNN Updated 9:56 PM ET, Sat August 29, 2020 Trump to travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday - CNNPolitics excerpt: "The way voters in Wisconsin interpret Blake's shooting and its aftermath could be central to November's outcome in a state Trump won by fewer than 23,000 votes in 2016. Trump was the first Republican to carry Kenosha County in 44 years. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the 2020 Democratic presidential and vice presidential nominees, said Wednesday that they spoke to Blake's family. Blake's father said Friday that his hour-long conversation with Biden and Harris was akin to "speaking to my uncle and one of my sisters." Blake's father said Friday his family had not heard from the White House regarding his son's shooting. A White House official told CNN on Wednesday that efforts had been made to connect Trump with the Blake family. Trump, when asked in an interview Friday night if he thought the officer who shot Blake was justified, said, "I'm looking into it very strongly. I'll be getting reports and I'll certainly let you know pretty soon." Protests have raged in Kenosha following Blake's shooting. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers on Tuesday declared a state of emergency, deployed members of the Wisconsin National Guard to Kenosha and implemented an 8 p.m. CT curfew. Buildings and cars in Kenosha have been set on fire, and two people were killed and a third was seriously wounded in a shooting during a protest."
Trump continues to break the polling Analysis by Harry Enten, CNN Updated 1001 GMT (1801 HKT) August 30, 2020 Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll puts former Vice President Joe Biden at 47% to President Donald Trump's 40% among registered voters. The poll was taken partially during the Democratic National Convention and partially during the Republican National Convention. Biden's advantage in the average of all polls has been consistent and most polls (unlike Ipsos) have him with more than 50% of the vote. What's the point: One of the more interesting phenomenons during this campaign has been watching analysts, pundits and voters grapple with what occurred in 2016. The polling suggested Trump would lose to Hillary Clinton, and he, of course, won in the Electoral College. A Pew Research Center poll published earlier this month demonstrates what's going on quite well. The poll had Biden up by 8 points over Trump, very similar to the average and the Ipsos poll discussed earlier. Yet, the same poll found that Americans believed by a 51% to 46% margin that Trump would defeat Biden in the election. (Among voters, it was a tighter 50% to 48% spread in favor of Trump.) The poll indicates that voters either believe the race will shift back to Trump or that the polling is wrong. Interestingly, the poll was self administered via the internet without live interviewers, so it's not like the voters who said they were voting for Biden had reason to give what they might perceive as the more socially desirable answer (i.e. not voting for Trump). Is this what you are all calling a big difference: "When those numbers are expanded out across nine broadcast and cable networks, Biden still beat Trump by a fairly wide margin, 23.6 million to 21.6 million." So errrr, less than 8% of your population watched either, and there was a difference of 2 Million And that's with Trump talking 3 times longer than Biden Trump’s RNC Loses Bigly to Biden’s DNC in TV Ratings 92% of your population didn't give a stuff about either convention
Trump has adjusted in the last couple of weeks. He is now pushing Law & Order, and pushing gun rights, and suppressing Democrat marchers, and suppressing mail voters. His supporters have wanted a racial holy war for years. I think his plan is to let them have it so they can start killing colored people. Remember bomb by mail Cezar Sayoc, and the Pittsburgh shooter who blamed Jews for importing people from Honduras. Trump's base is totally fucking insane and dangerous.
Yet it was the right wing Trump supporting scum who killed all the innocent people at the mall in El Paso, and the Synagogue in Pittsburg, and the Muslim students in Chapel Hill. Trump supporters have killed more than any other group. This Rittenhouser crossed state lines with a combat weapon which he wasn't old enough to buy, and killed two innocent marchers. I also understand that scumbag from Australia who killed all the Muslims in New Zeeland also liked Trump. In America that Cezar Sayoc was an avid Trump supporter and attended Trump's public events just like Rittenhouser. Maybe they will get to share the same prison cell, huh?

Few minorities seen in the crowd, unlike the stage backdrops of Trump which try to make it appear he has a large contingent of minorities.
Trump avoided saying anything that would tarnish the white supremecist movements, apparently not wanting to lose the support he has had from them as part of his base. Erdogan, whom Trump admires, used the Christchurch mosque shooting incident at one of his campaign rallies. Christchurch mosque shootings From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Christchurch mosque shootings - Wikipedia excerpt: "The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, showed footage taken by Tarrant to his supporters at campaign rallies for upcoming local elections.[356][357] The New Zealand and Australian governments,[358] as well as Turkey's main opposition party, criticised his actions.[359] U.S. President Donald Trump condemned the "horrible massacre".[360] When asked after the attacks if he thought white nationalists were a growing threat around the world, Trump replied "I don't really. I think it's a small group of people that have very, very serious problems. It's certainly a terrible thing."[361]"

I think Trump's campaign managers know he could energize his base if he ignites a race war with his mouth.
The polls of interest are those for the battleground states, including OH, NV, MN, WI, PA, MI, IA, FL, AR, and GA. Texas with its 38 electoral votes is unexpectedly close. 2020 Presidential Election Polls: Biden vs. Trump
Trump is known for having dismissive views of vaccines in the past to pander to his base, but is now highly supportive of them for the coronavirus. Trump is counting on the public, including his base, to allow themselves to be vaccinated with new vaccines for the coronavirus. It's questionable whether his base would submit to being vaccinated when they are rebelling against social distancing including wearing face coverings. They have rebelled in the past against vaccines that have been highly tested over decades in contrast to upcoming coronavirus vaccines. President Trump on Vaccines: From Skeptic to Cheerleader Jan Hoffman Published March 9, 2020 Updated March 11, 2020 President Trump on Vaccines: From Skeptic to Cheerleader excerpt: 2009: 'Very dangerous' From April 2009 through February 2010, about 12,000 Americans died from an influenza strain known as “swine flu,” which spread around the globe and infected at least 42 million people. On April 29, Mr. Trump called in to the Fox News show “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” during which they discussed the epidemic. Mr. Cavuto asked if there was a risk of overreaction, including endorsing vaccines that could do more harm than good. Mr. Trump said there was. “I think the vaccines can be very dangerous. And, obviously, you know, a lot of people are talking about vaccines with children with respect to autism.” Later in the interview Mr. Trump said that if his children got sick, he would keep them at home from school: “But I don’t think I would inject them with all sorts of vaccines that, really, nobody even right now knows if it works with respect to what they’re — what they’re looking at right now, Neil.”"
