There was more than one Candy darlin' there were a dozen of then scattered all around the aircraft. It now transpires that another sixtenn people have been infected with the virus, as a result of being in contact with one or other of these people.

Not justn the passengers either Candy darlin' - the entire cabin crew (including the pilots) are also now in quarantine for 14 days.

 

Thanks ,We are both fine . We just find it frustrating that we have to wear a face covering in shops and supermarkets when we cant spread the disease nor catch it again and yet we see plenty of people who cant be bothered wearing one including those that are classified as being vulnerable .

 

You are quite right. So many stories I get muddled. It has really put me off flying anywhere.

 

There is also doubt that masks actually help?
I really don't know what to believe????

 

Have postponed my own holiday plans for this year entirely, but am waiting for next year, when am planning to visit Slovenia.

Yes a 2 week holiday may end up being a 4 week holiday with 2 at home and not being allowed out for food !

 

I have several including a face visor. One of my masks even has a 'political' statement on it !!!

Vlad that is spot on. Masks are designed to protect others. One is relying on the others wearing theirs in turn to protect you . The Scumbag Nasty party that you call them couldn't understand that rationale originally , hence they took so long in implementing them .

I don't go out to do food shopping now. In fact haven't done so for the past five years, - the man from Sainsburys, brings it to me - and since I was being 'shielded' for five months, was given 'priority' when ordering and getting deliveries.

 

I wasn't the one who first named them that - t'was Theresa May herself who did that at one of their annual conferences some years ago.

 

You lucky. There are so many I believe still cant get on these systems. We do the shopping for my Wife's mother who is 87 and a type 2 diabetic and therefore vulnerable. Even though we both have had the virus we still have to be careful and wipe our hands with sanitiser as soon as we get into the house as the virus can still travel on surfaces and be transmitted this way. We also discard all the food coverings as a precaution . Its a very sneaky virus.

 

Not really. The reason I was being 'shielded' is because I have serious health issues, (I need a new pair of lungs)
