    Here's the exact quote,
This after watching a video of a Trump supporter firing multiple rounds of paintballs into a crowd of protestors from the back of a pickup truck.

Ever been hit by a paintball? I have. Here's an idea of what a paint ball can do...

Firing a paintball gun at a protestor for no reason is assault, not defense..

They went after that white supremacist after he killed a man with his illegally acquired combat rifle.

He will be convicted and so will Trump. Vance is ready to prosecute Trump. Adam Schiff has a big file on Trump.

You'd better call your water department and have it checked for LSD.

So far the Molotov cocktails have come from the Boogaloo crowd, because they want to give the peace marchers a bad image. It's called sabotage.

Trump seems to think that spending more taxpayer money on the military and using military officials for political stunts will garner their vote. The polls are showing that his approach hasn't been effective.

Trump later turned to a quasi-military approach to quashing demonstrators, such as using border patrol agents.

Why Trump loves the US military – but it doesn't love him back
The president’s West Point speech went smoothly but protests have focused a harsh light on his use of the military

Why Trump loves the US military – but it doesn't love him back

    excerpt:

"On 1 June, the president had the area around the White House cleared of peaceful demonstrators who were protesting police killings of black Americans. Teargas and other chemical irritants were used as well as rubber bullets, baton charges and mounted police, all so Trump could walk across Lafayette Square to pose with a Bible in front of St John’s, the so-called “church of the presidents”.

In his entourage were the defense secretary, Mark Esper, and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Gen Mark Milley, the latter dressed in battle fatigues. In the presence of scores of soldiers from the national guard, it certainly looked like Trump’s suppression of peaceful protests was a military operation, in violation of norms that have underpinned US military conduct for a century and a half.

Trump planned to go much further, invoking the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy an elite combat unit from the 82nd Airborne on the streets of the capital.

“What we have here is an effort to use the military to partisan advantage to the point of potentially putting troops in the streets to confront protesters [and] to present himself as the law and order president, which is a concept with pretty historical racial overtones,” said Risa Brooks, professor of political science at Marquette University."

Why Trump loves the US military – but it doesn't love him back

    excerpt:

"The widening gap between racially sensitive armed services and a presidency that draws significant support from white nationalists became vividly apparent this week. On Monday, the Pentagon indicated that Esper was considering changes to bases named for Confederate generals. On Wednesday, Trump decreed by tweet: “My Administration will not even consider the renaming of these Magnificent and Fabled Military Installations.

“Our history as the Greatest Nation in the World will not be tampered with,” he declared. “Respect our Military!”

Respect for the military is a powerful drug in US politics. It has retained the confidence of an overwhelming majority of an electorate largely contemptuous of other institutions. The endorsement of seasoned flag officers is enthusiastically sought at election time, though the actual electoral benefits appear to be marginal.

Trump surrounded himself with generals at the start of his tenure. They have all since fled and are now either critical or silent."

Trump’s Actions Rattle the Military World: ‘I Can’t Support the Man’

Trump’s Actions Rattle the Military World: ‘I Can’t Support the Man’

    excerpt:

“He has hurt the military,” said Ms. Fangmann, who lives in Arizona, one of several states in play this November with a high percentage of veterans and active-duty service members. “Bringing in active-duty members to the streets was a test to desensitize people to his future use of the military for his personal benefit. I think the silent majority among us is going to swing away.”

Since 2016, Mr. Trump has viewed veterans as a core slice of his base; in that year’s presidential election, about 60 percent voted for him, according to exit polls, and swing-state counties with especially high numbers of veterans helped him win. Many veterans and members of the military stuck with him even as he attacked the Vietnam War record of Senator John McCain, disparaged families of those killed in combat and denigrated generals whom he fired or drove from government service. Some conservative rank-and-file enlisted members silently agreed with Mr. Trump.

But the president’s threat last week to use active-duty troops on American streets against largely peaceful protesters, and his flirtation with invoking the 1807 Insurrection Act, have rattled the military world, from its top leaders to its youngest veterans. If they break in significant numbers, they could carry political weight in key battleground states like Arizona, North Carolina and Ohio.

Members of the military shouldn't have expected that Trump would treat them any better than he did McCain and everyone else he disparaged, military or civilian.

Obama detractors said that he would cause a race war. Race relations seemed calm during Obama's tenure compared to what has happened during Trump's term.

Trump still hasn't meaningfully addressed the racial tensions that have risen during his term.

Trump has tap danced around the issue of racial unrest, talking about it as a pop culture war to try to score cheap trick political points and win a personal ego battle with the public like a troll on a web forum.

Trump has stated that more protection is needed for the police, some of whom have killed people with choke holds and shooting them seven times in the back. Such actions have fomented the public frustrations that Trump is now fueling and capitalizing on to promote his campaign. His latest ploy is to use the racial violence as a campaign backdrop to portray Biden as a dangerous leftist.

The Horror of Trump’s Support for Kyle Rittenhouse
The president has spent years telling his followers they are the only true Americans. Now, he’s implying their use of force is legitimate too.

The Horror of Trump’s Support for Kyle Rittenhouse

    excerpt:

"Trump has now spoken out in defense of a supporter who killed protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The president has claimed that the 17-year-old shooter, who crossed state lines with a weapon that was not his own, found himself in “a very interesting situation.” As Aaron Blake noted in the Washington Post, the president did not condemn the violence and instead echoed Rittenhouse’s lawyers, who said the 17-year-old “did nothing wrong” and “exercised his God-given, constitutional, common law and statutory law right to self-defense.”* Trump has now defended crowds of his supporters who took it upon themselves to shoot paintballs and pepper spray on protesters in Portland, Oregon, because, as he tweeted, “the big backlash going on in Portland cannot be unexpected after 95 days of watching [an] incompetent Mayor admit that he has no idea what he is doing. The people of Portland won’t put up with no safety any longer. The Mayor is a FOOL. Bring in the National Guard!”"

Supposedly, only Trump can quell the unrest he foments.

The Star Trek episode Day of the Dove parallels Trump's approach of inciting unrest and using it for his own advantage.

Unknown to the crew of the Enterprise and the Klingons, an alien spirit had inhabited the enterprise and instilled hatred in the two groups, causing a relentless war between the two. Mr. Chekov even grabbed the crotch of the wife of commander Kang of the Klingons, in true Trumpian spirit.

The crews eventually discovered the alien spirit and cast it away by voluntarilty and mutally ceasing their hostilities upon which it had been feeding,.

The episode originally aired in late 1968, a turbulent year in the U.S. when violence of the Vietnam war and racial tensions were running high.

Trump says Kenosha trip could increase 'enthusiasm' amid concerns it will stir tensions
He is expected to meet with law enforcement and tour damaged businesses.

Trump tours damaged businesses in Kenosha, meets with law enforcement amid tensions

    excerpt:

"Democratic nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden later issued a statement blasting the president for not condemning Rittenhouse.

“Tonight, the President declined to rebuke violence. He wouldn't even repudiate one of his supporters who is charged with murder because of his attacks on others. He is too weak, too scared of the hatred he has stirred to put an end to it,” Biden said."

So now Trump is supposedly visiting Kenosha to offer an olive branch to help quell the racial animosity he has incited.

For the farmers, Trump offers tire pumps after puncturing their tractor tires with their own pitchforks.
