    Just my 2 bobs worth.
You don't need a gym or expensive membership or swimming pool to exercise or loose weight, yes these definitely help but if you can walk at a good pace ie fast then walking fast for 1 mile is as good as running especially when starting as you'll cover the whole mile probably while walking but you won't when running. This help build cardiovascular endurance and in turn makes you fitter healthier and helps loose weight.

Of course you don't . I don't work out in a gym . But for many people its their preference and they relied on it . I also agree about walking as its the most pleasurable source of exercise out there and we did a lot of that whilst on lockdown . Walking can also bring you closer to nature as well assuming you walk though green areas .There are lots of positives for walking .However on the negative side Public Health England advised on 10 minutes walking a day. For me its no where near enough to have an impact on improving ones health. I would say perhaps 30 mins minimum and perhaps take the dog as well .

Sorry didn't realise you had already mentioned walking.
Yes 10 minutes is no where near enough, that's your body just warming up.
Ideally 5 to 10 mins warm up walk 30 minutes fast(ish) walk and 5 to 10 mins slower cool down walk.

I suppose its does beg the question . I don't really want to turn this into a political slot by the way .

But is the diet the UK Government want to bring in as a project ie the 800 calories shake diet going to be the real deal ?

For me I think they would be better promoting walking to work instead of taking the bus or perhaps take the bus to work but get off a couple of stops sooner. If taken up as a habit then its just my opinion in the long run that would work better . Cycling is also Okay but not everyone wants to ride a bicycle and some are attracting mouth watering prices. Not everyone wants to start repairing a puncture when its raining hard and you at the half way point on your way home or on the way to work. So perhaps safer walking areas would be a good way to go rather than concentrating on a cycling network ?

Candy get yourself a single leg tripod ( mono pod ) if that makes sense, I have one its magic and you don't have to use the floor walls are very helpful, in fact any thing that's stable helps to keep the camera still.

The yacht looks interesting about 30 million worth as guestymate.

I was feeling so emotional... I couldn't shake it, and finally my gf hit me back on WhatsApp. She had told me yesterday that she was shopping today for a dress to wear at her friend's wedding. I totally forgot and couldn't figure out why my stupid WhatsApp wasn't buzzing away... I'm such a nincompoop. :D

Anyway, while I was emo, I typed "I love you" into google, and what comes up but none other than Billie Eilish.

Seeing this made me feel better. :anguished:

It's like I know she loves me sometimes, and other times I'm in the foggiest of dark valleys. And I can't see my hand in front of my own face. And I wonder and search and fear. I think relationships are just like that: You don't always know with certainty. But it feels like schizophrenia sometimes and I get confused then. She knows this though, and is very good to me. :smileycat:

    Thank you.

It's a daunting reality for those in long distance relationships, but also for those living with this particular mental ailment as it were I fear. It's probably real, but maybe the illness too. Lol. I cannot decide. :)

Anyway, it's fine now. I guess I was just wondering what was up. I had sent a letter via email like I always do. She consistently responds when she's awake enough to text one out. This time was different. I guess I'm spoiled, but I was expecting her to get back. What I didn't remember was that she told me yesterday that she would be busily hunting for a dress to wear.
