I really like the song and animation in the intro to "F is for Family" --- "Come and get your Love"

Also, an old favorite are the intros to "The Simpsons" -- I Love how the parts when the family meets up on the couch are all unique!

It’s actually not too bad a film but when compared to its competition back in 1980 its understandable how the film lost money.

Raging Bull, Superman II, Stir Crazy, Airplane, The Blues Brothers, The Shining, Caddyshack, The Empire Strikes Back,.....etc......

Oh man, yeah- all heavy hitters at the box office back then. I enjoyed it though. They picked the perfect band for the music score and soundtrack!

I haven't seen a single episode of this show but I love the theme tune... Reminds me of my late father so much.

Wow- never saw that one before. They had some Star Wars sound effects in there. Probably got the pants sued off for that.

I always liked Louis Gossett Jr.

After his brilliant performance in An Officer and a Gentleman, They offered him a TV series in 1983 (but only as a sidekick,) not a the lead performer in The Powers of Matthew Star (Which was common for
black actors back then unless it was a comedy series)

Sadly it didn't last long, but it's good to see it's back on the air once again on Memorable Entertainment TV as the Saturday night replacement for The Invaders.

WOW! That really brings back memories from 2007 when someone hung dozens of Mooninite LED signs all over the City of Boston
which led to widespread panic in the belief they were bombs.

The whole region was in panic for about 48 hours, so much so that Former Sen. Ted Kennedy even introduced a bill into the U.S. Senate "The Terrorist Hoax Improvements Act of 2007,"

"Old paint on canvas, as it ages, sometimes becomes transparent. When that happens it is possible, in some pictures, to see the original lines: a tree will show through a woman's dress, a child makes way for a dog, a large boat is no longer on an open sea. That is called pentimento because the painter 'repented', changed his mind. Perhaps it would be as well to say that the old conception, replaced by a later choice, is a way of seeing and then seeing again."

The dialog opening Fred Zinemann's film Julia (Written by Lillian Hellman), is one of the most memorable to me.

This is the scene that followed.
Probably one of the best ever openings to set the mood of a film.
