going crazy... first day of "work". They might not keep me on... I dread the decision not to hire me. Maybe I'll get lucky though.

I studied. I've done homework questions, exercises & problems from every chapter in Introduction to Accounting - I'm basically done with all the homework through the end of the course and the semester is going through mid-December.

But I don't feel ready. I haven't done it in QuickBooks, or in a job setting.

That's what my parents said too, but they understand my anxiety.

I can't imagine what they're expecting. I've been honest with them about my on-the-job experience - I've been responsible for Accounts Payable, but not journal entries for closing or anything. I've helped with bank reconciliations, but ultimately someone else was the bookkeeper; I was just helping.

It's depressing to think about it not working out, but it still may go in my favor.
