Wisconsin Is Frazzled by Surging Virus Cases and Growing Campaign Frenzy The state, up for grabs in the presidential election, has become a coronavirus hot spot. “It’s too late” to solve, one mayor says. Julie Bosman \By Julie Bosman Oct. 1, 2020 Wisconsin Is Frazzled by Surging Virus Cases and Growing Campaign Frenzy excerpt: "Wisconsin residents who have been careful to wear a mask in public and social distance said they sometimes feel like they are in the minority. Rebecca Selle, 38, a cancer researcher in the Milwaukee suburbs, was invited to a wedding in September that she and her husband reluctantly decided to attend. They arrived to a scene that could have been lifted from a carefree pre-Covid era: 200 people crammed together in a banquet hall, pouring glasses of beer from communal pitchers, hugging, crowding together and posing for pictures. There was even a buffet. “It was horrifying,” she said. She and her husband dropped their place cards and left after a few minutes. “You would never know that a pandemic was happening.”"
I understand that drinking copius amounts of alcohol will kill the virus. and that Kellyanne is an expert at it.
McEnany is known for her comment on CNN on February 25, 2020 that viruses like the coronavirus wouldn't come to the U.S., a remark that ranks high with the erroneous and wishful-thinking statements made by Kellyanne Conway. In early April the coronavirus was impacting the U.S. and she was questioned about it at a White House press briefing. She used the whataboutism tactic by citing other people in the media who made simiiar remarks and exited the briefing abruptly. McEnany's statement: “We will not see diseases like the coronavirus come here, we will not see terrorism come here, and isn’t that refreshing when contrasting it with the awful presidency of President Obama?”
McEnany could have come up with another alibi. She didn't explicitly say that the coronavirus disease wouldn't come to the U.S. She said diseases like the coronavirus disease wouldn't come to the U.S.
Chris Christie tests positive for coronavirus. He was with Trump for the debate preparation where no one wore masks. Chris Christie tests positive for coronavirus Emma Newburger Published Sat, Oct 3 202011:40 AM EDT Chris Christie tests positive for coronavirus excerpt: "Christie helped Trump prepare for last week’s presidential debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden and was at the White House ceremony last weekend and said that no one was wearing masks during debate prep. “No one was wearing masks in the room when we were prepping the president during that period of time,” Christie said in an interview on ABC. “And the group was about five or six people, in total.”"
Christie is a big guy. Out of his love and appreciation for Trump, perhaps spread the disease by kissing Hope Hicks or even kissing Trump.
The large increase in cases in hot spot regions is exacerbating the spread of the disease by straining the ability to test people and conduct contact tracing. The highest confirmed case rate is for young adults who are may be spreading it to older people who are at a higher risk for morbidity and death. pdf file: https://www.co.winnebago.wi.us/sites/default/files/uploaded-files/9.24_school_final.pdf excerpt:
The spate of infections in Trump's orbit announced during the past two days shows how quickly the virus can spread. The regional outbreaks in states like WI are a larger version of what has happened to Trump's orbit. Trump tests positive: Source tells reporters: Next 48 hours will be critical for Trump - CNNPolitics excerpt: "Conley briefed the press about fourteen hours after Trump was taken to Walter Reed. The President revealed his Covid-19 diagnosis early Friday morning. In the hours that followed, the circle of current and former aides to the President testing positive rapidly widened. By early Saturday, former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and the President's campaign manager Bill Stepien had both tested positive, which followed the positive diagnoses of two US senators who had attended Trump's Supreme Court nomination announcement last weekend, and Trump senior adviser Hope Hicks on Thursday. A third Republican US senator, who did not attend the nomination event, announced a positive diagnosis later Saturday morning. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who had helped the President with debate preparations, also announced he had tested positive on Saturday. It was a remarkably fast escalation of the virus' threat -- which the President has long downplayed -- from an infection that caused him mild symptoms, to a fever to then being airlifted to the hospital, all while spreading quickly throughout the government and his campaign.
Oh god--what a dream come true. Just to be able to kiss Herr Trump on those poochy lips!! My life would be complete!!!
He did a great job with the debate preparation. . . . . . Not. btw, he was in the ABC studio, doing an analysis of the debate, with David Muir, George Stephonopolous, and a few other people.
Trump shares attributes with other dictators such as Kim Jong Un who has a fetish about conducting PR events with women who are to be seen with him crying tears of anguish and joy in his presence, as if he is their savior. Trump exhibits a similar psychological state of perceiving himself as a savior but a more fictitious one that involves his stories of un-witnessed events where big burly men such as farmers and truck drivers, who he says have never cried in their life, supposedly refer to him as 'sir' and cry for him in his presence because he supposedly saved their livelihood. Why everybody seems to be crying in lots of photos with Kim Jong-un Business Insider Deutschland Why everybody seems to be crying in lots of photos with Kim Jong-un
Although many of Trump's stories appear to be fictitious or exaggerated, an example of a real one occurred at one of his 'round table' events that was supposed to be about improving the economy but instead was a praise-fest where each person at the table honored Trump (Trump did a similar televised praise-fest with his cabinet members before this event). A woman at the table was holding up a government check and praising Trump with tears coming down her eyes for saving her. Trump relishes such incidents where he is seen as a savior.
