Post of a blogger: "Putin’s done very well. America is tearing itself apart. Great Britain left the EU. Vlad pretty much has free rein in Syria. His influence is growing in the Middle East and Near Asia. The United States is no longer the leader of the democratic states around the globe. We no longer lead efforts to control global pandemics or participate in efforts to mitigate climate change. We are no longer the cornerstone of NATO, and we embrace thugs and authoritarians and disdain democratically elected allies. Yep, I’d say Putin’s return on investment is beyond his wildest dream."
And the United States no longer gives a flying fuck about the environmental conditions around the world.
OMG, someone contracted a virus, how shocking Same day, 20,000 registered Democrats also contracted the same virus, some were wearing masks
Where did you get that from? First off, I’m not a Democrat- understand that. Second, you’re missing the whole point to why this latest Trump blunder is significant for many reasons. He’s not a warrior and all this freakin nonsense his base is trying to portray. Third, I don’t think you live in Australia.
Where do I get what from? You guys had 52,000 new cases on Oct 2nd, just one day What do you guys think, that all those 52,000 were the ones not wearing masks Safe bet at least 1/4 them vote Democrat, certainly a crap load more than that one press secretary that gets the virus
Trump didn't score any points in the first debate. Perhaps more joy rides in the presidential limo will help him. Biden's national lead over Trump jumps to 14 points after debate in new NBC News/WSJ poll
I've thought that for awhile. Of course he will never answer that First of all, it depends on where the 52,000 were. If they were in a red state, they probably were not wearing masks.
Doctors say Trump is now in good spirits and ready to leave the hospital. Translation: Trump is back to his usual mephitic and abominable self.
Dr. Conley admitted that he skirted repeated questions about Trump being on supplemental oxygen. He said it was done to not spoil the projection of a rosy atmosphere that they wanted. Conley still wouldn't answer questions concerning if Trump's blood oxygen level dropped below 90%. He said it wasn't as low as 83%. After walking away from the question about steroids, the next day Conley admitted that Trump has been on steroids, a treatment which is usually reserved for patients in a more serious condition or advanced stage of the disease. Conley was vague about Trump's lung condition, saying that images showed expected findings. That could mean expected for lungs compromised by the disease or expected for healthy lungs. Conley hasn't stated how high Trump's fever became. Trump has been placed on numerous medications that started only about day after his positive test result. It indicates an abundance of caution and willingness to take risks with side-effects for a mild condition or that Trump was in a more serious condition than his doctors have been willing to admit, even if it lasted for only a day. The helicopter airlift suggests the latter.
Well it was 1700 cases in NY same day, so what happened if they were all good little blue staters wearing masks?
Dr. Conley is like the press secretary on the comedy sketch that SNL did on the Three Mile Island nuclear accident. In the sketch, President Carter received high doses of radiation after examining the reactor and reportedly grew to be 100 feet tall but was yet to be seen by anyone. At the White House press conference: 1st reporter: Is the president 100 feet tall? press spokesman: No. Absolutely not! 2nd reporter: Is the president 90 feet tall? press spokesman: No comment.
In information vacuum, experts say Trump’s steroid treatment may hold clues to health status excerpt: “Some patients may develop psychiatric symptoms after being treated with steroids including euphoria, mood instability, rage or psychosis,” said Dr. Lewis Kaplan, the president of Society of Critical Care Medicine and a surgeon at the University of Pennsylvania. “It is rare, but occurs often enough that we recognize them as undesirable side effects of steroid therapy."
