Yeah, Biden has to play by Marquis of Queensberry rules, while Trump can bite and gouge. I don't understand how he's gotten away with it for so long. Hopefully, the day of reckoning is at hand. I was watching an interview with Carly Fiorina and remembering the insulting remarks Trump made about her face in 2016. Can you imagine a guy with an ugly orange mug like his even bringing up the issue? Probably Biden would lose lots of votes if he called Trump "fatso" or "orange face", but there's a part of me that wishes it would happen.

All stemming from this However, the Florida Department of Health had only been counting official Florida residents. Between the two lists, there was a differential in the daily tallies of nearly ten percent. The information HAS ALWAYS been there period I live here I was able to find cases/deaths by ZIPCODE I knew how many were directly near me so there is that as well
Trump once again says he was treated unfairly. 2020 Election Live Updates: Trump Posts ‘60 Minutes’ Interview He Cut Short After Bristling at Questions excerpt: "But a review of the footage shows Ms. Stahl calmly and firmly asking the president questions on the coronavirus and other topics — and Mr. Trump growing increasingly irritated. From the outset of the interview the president suggested that Ms. Stahl was not being “fair,” before proceeding to complain about the topics that the anchor brought up, including the flagging economy and the rising numbers of coronavirus cases in more than 40 states. He spent much of the interview complaining about Ms. Stahl or insulting her, accusing her of being “negative” in her approach. “You brought up a lot of questions that were inappropriately brought up, right from the beginning,” Mr. Trump says toward the end of the clip. “Don’t you think you should be accountable to the American people?” Ms. Stahl replies. The footage released by Mr. Trump was filmed by White House staff members; CBS said that the president’s aides had pledged to use the footage “for archival purposes only.”"
NYC and other cities to take legal action against Trump administration's 'anarchy' designation - CNNPolitics excerpt: "New York City plans to file a joint complaint Thursday challenging the Trump administration's designation of Democratic-led cities as "anarchist" jurisdictions in hopes of blocking the President's threat to withhold federal funding, according to the city's top lawyer. In a news conference, New York City Corporation Counsel Jim Johnson said the city is taking legal action now because the Trump administration has taken "concrete steps" and begun including the "anarchist" designation in applications for federal grants. "There is no basis in law, there is no basis in fact, for this anarchist determination, and yet they are going to use it to determine who does and who does not get federal funding," he said. The complaint will be filed in Seattle, according to Johnson, who cited the deployment of federal troops in "battledress uniforms in western cities" as his reason why Seattle is the "appropriate" place for the filing."
Trump has used both an anarchist and authoritarian approach to the coronavirus in a dog-chase-tail routine. Anarchist when promoting his mindset that everyone in the public should be able to flout guidelines and laws related to coronavirus safety, which causes businesses and school to shut down. Authoritarian by issuing a decree of his perceived 'absolute authority' (that even his own administration officials informed him that he didn't have) to try to reopen states against their will whose shutdowns he caused with his anarchy.
This is part of why Trump stormed out of the 60 Minutes interview. Lesley Stahl was questioning Trump about the virus and other topics. Trump cowered. The death toll can't be ignored no matter how Trump tries to downplay it. The fact that it is hitting Blacks and Latinos hard makes Trump all the more frustrated. He was looking for extra votes from those groups to make up for lost white suburban votes, particularly women, to whom he is now appealing by saying that they should love him because he made their dishwashers better. Lesley Stahl was interviewing Trump when he told her about his humbleness. LESLEY STAHL: You're not known to be a humble man. But I wonder -- DONALD TRUMP: I think I am, actually humble. I think I'm much more humble than you would understand.
Whoops, Trump did it again — the same scheme that got him impeached excerpt: "Now Trump is doing to Wray what he did to Zelensky. The only difference is that Trump's leverage in this case is limited: He can dismiss the FBI director at any time, having already done so once, but that's about it. With Zelensky, Trump's threats carried a lot more weight. Either way, the basic story is the same: Trump is demanding that a government official abuse his powers and launch a completely phony investigation based on made-up charges, for Trump's political benefit. In fact, Trump has reportedly made similar threats about Attorney General Bill Barr, because the Justice Department's bogus special-counsel investigation of the Russia investigation evidently hasn't turned up anything Trump can use to bolster his conspiracy theories about the Democrats. (If Barr, the most dogged and ruthless of Trump's sycophants, is in trouble, things in the White House are getting really bad.) There's a word for all this: Blackmail. Unfortunately, the media coverage about the attacks on Wray (and on Barr) or about the latest ridiculous wrinkles in Rudy Giuliani's harebrained schemes all too often fails to provide the necessary context."
Bolsonaro laughed at the coronavirus threat in March. Brazil now has 155,000 coronavirus deaths, second only to the U.S. and about the same per capita as the U.S.
New Columbia Study Blames the White House for at Least 130,000 ‘Avoidable’ COVID Deaths excerpt: "“If the U.S. had followed Canadian policies and protocols, there might have only been 85,192 U.S. deaths—making more than 132,500 American deaths ‘avoidable.’ If the U.S. response had mirrored that of Germany, the U.S. may have only had 38,457 deaths—leaving 179,260 avoidable deaths,” the researchers wrote. The researchers chose the half dozen countries that have achieved some level of success in responding to the pandemic. “We should model ourselves on the best. We should be the best,” Redlener said. “We have the resources, the economy, the scientific expertise to do this the right way. We’re facing a lethal pandemic, and we had very misguided leadership that chose to berate the purveyors of masks and social distancing. The president himself became a superspreader. He has blood on his hands.” Researchers cite several well-known but catastrophic factors that plagued the U.S. response: insufficient testing, delayed lockdowns, a lack of a unified federal response, and a failure to mandate non-medical interventions like masks and social distancing. American leaders, the researchers wrote, have shown a “failure to model best practices,” especially wearing masks during public appearances. Though research publications rarely venture into politics, both Scientific American and the New England Journal of Medicine have published editorials excoriating the Trump administration for its handling of the pandemic in the past month."
Trump Campaign Draws Rebuke for Surveilling Philadelphia Voters excerpt: "The Trump campaign’s aggressive strategy in Philadelphia suggests its aim is to crack down on people dropping off ballots for family members or anyone else who is not strictly authorized to do so. Ms. Kerns demanded that the names of all voters who had used a drop box in front of Philadelphia’s City Hall on Oct. 14 be turned over to the campaign, and insisted that the city station a staff member around every drop box “at all times.” She also asked for footage from municipal cameras around City Hall. But city officials rejected the assertion that the voters who had been photographed had necessarily done something improper. The city’s lawyers forwarded the campaign’s complaints to the local district attorney, but did not make a formal referral and cast doubt on the assertions. They also said they do not track which voters use which drop box. “Third party delivery is permitted in certain circumstances,” Benjamin H. Field, a deputy city solicitor and counsel to the city Board of Elections, wrote in a letter sent to Ms. Kerns on Monday. “The Board cannot agree with your conclusion on the basis of the information you provided. Nor can the Board, in exercising its duties, assume that an individual is violating the Election Code when that person can act as an agent for a voter who required assistance.”"
Wisconsin set a record high for daily coronavirus deaths. The death rate is known to lag the case rate by a few weeks. Hospitalizations due to the virus hit a record high. Wisconsin's cases have been rising markedly to record levels, as high as over 4000 cases per day. It was about 600 per day in early September. Tracking coronavirus in Wisconsin Wisconsin Has Record-High Single Day Virus Deaths With 48, First Patient Admitted To Field Hospital excerpt: "The seven-day average of new confirmed cases also reached a new record high of 3,444, which is nearly double what it was a month ago and nearly five times what it was two months ago. The 724.2 new cases per 100,000 people in Wisconsin over the past two weeks ranks the state fourth highest in the country for new cases per capita. The number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Wisconsin also hit a record high on Tuesday, at 1,192, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Association. Of those, 315 were in intensive care."
Trump is expected to dismiss the Wisconsin coronavirus numbers and conduct more virus-spreader rallies in the swing state. The usual dismissals include making statements that the hospital occupancy statewide on average hasn't yet hit 100% and that the per capita cases in WI isn't as bad as other parts of the country.
He really has become a one-man super-spreader, and just like Typhoid Mary he denies he's the cause of the spread. Trump’s campaign made stops nationwide. Coronavirus cases surged in his wake in at least five places. As President Donald Trump jetted across the country holding campaign rallies during the past two months, he didn’t just defy state orders and federal health guidelines. He left a trail of coronavirus outbreaks in his wake. The president has participated in nearly three dozen rallies since mid-August, all but two at airport hangars. A USA TODAY analysis shows COVID-19 cases grew at a faster rate than before after at least five of those rallies in the following counties: Blue Earth, Minnesota; Lackawanna, Pennsylvania; Marathon, Wisconsin; Dauphin, Pennsylvania; and Beltrami, Minnesota.
Trump squandered two opportunities to appeal to voters. He botched the first debate by interrupting Biden excessively which caused him to lose the debate in the eyes of the voters, as evidenced by numerous polls. He chose to not participate in the second debate after pouting about it was amended to be virtual due to his lax behavior about the virus which caused him to contract it and made him a contaminant at an in-person debate. The first two debates were of temporally higher persuasion value because many people have already voted since the first debate. It leaves a limited number of voters available for persuasion by the time of the third debate which is only 12 days before the election.
