His supporters pack themselves onto buses to reach his airport events, a behavior that is yet another risk for spreading the virus in addition to the rally itself.

Trump has conducted such events relentlessly to please his hardcore base at the expense of alienating other voters such as older white people who were important constituents for him in 2016. Polls show that Trump's support from them has eroded. They are now uneasy about his behavior considering they are in the high risk category for the coronavirus that he says affects virtually no one.

 

In 2016 people thought that Trump might rise to the occasion and grow into the presidency. Instead, he has regressed to the mentality of a preschooler.

In decades past, Trump would have been the disposable candidate early in the presidential campaign season who would have acted like the circus clown to warm up the electorate for the more serious candidates who would later become the front runners.

Trump's approach hasn't changed and had become even more entrenched. He's been on an insult campaign against Fauci and doesn't like Birx either who was considered to be apologetic to Trump.

Some of Trump's supporters will follow him instead of rational people and literally go to their deaths for him like Herman Cain did
