U.S. tops 120,000 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

The usual can be anticipated from Team Trump: It's a result of Trump's fantastic testing system finding harmless cases as the country rounds the corner.

Covid-19 cases break record for second day in a row, topping 120,000
A total of 120,048 people tested positive Thursday, nearly 16,000 more than were reported Wednesday, according to NBC News tallies.

    Why
Cutting away from that demagogic, demented rant was the responsible thing to do. Trump is way beyond rude...and seemingly desperate.

Foreign adversaries need not stoke election disinformation when Trump is doing it for them.

Trump National Security Officials Horrified by His Election Lies

    excerpt:

"“What’s happened here in the election is that people are standing up for integrity of the vote. The public seems to be assured enough that the legitimate ballots are being counted. The result will be what the result is,” said Dan Coats, the former director of national intelligence under Trump. “Candidates can say whatever they want to say but in the end it’s the facts that matter. The winner wins and the loser hopefully understands that with grace and accepts the loss.”

National security and intelligence officials have for months warned that the most serious disinformation threat to the election was domestic, not foreign. But the fact that officials are contingency planning for President Trump ignoring or fighting back against the final results of the 2020 presidential elections highlights the extent to which his own administration is concerned about his attempts to mislead the country."

Remark by former Republican PA governor Tom Ridge:

"With his remarks from the White House tonight, the President disrespected every single American who figured out a way to safely vote amid a pandemic that has taken 235,000 lives. Not to mention those who are dutifully counting that vote. Absolutely shameful. Yet so predictable."

Trump's remarks tonight earn him a place at the very bottom of presidential rankings. Clearly the very worst! Republicans need to act quickly to save their party from the infamy of their demented President.

Trump supporters chant 'stop the count' and 'count the votes' depending on whether Trump is winning or losing.

    Youtube comments:

Were losing “Count the vote!!!” We're winning “Stop the vote!!!”

Vote the count! Count the stop!

What a mess of a country.

Watching America affairs for the last 4 years is like watching Rome burn in real time.

Toto, I've a feeling we're not in democracy anymore.

Trumps lead in Pennsylvania is now down to just 22,000 votes from a high of 680,000
Trump claims there was all kinds of voter fraud and yet he acknowledge that republicans held the senate and made gains in the house.

So apparently only he is being hurt by all of this voter fraud which has helped his republican colleagues....lol...

Here are a few interesting hypothetical scenarios that I thought of that could potentially happen...

Trump can be re-elected 2024... If he loses the 2020 elections, he has put so many obstacles in the way of Joe Biden that he will have difficulty unwinding all the damage he (Trump) has done, let alone make new legislations. The economy will be in tatters, coronavirus will take a lot longer to contain (as it is spreading still), Trump supporters will cause unrest on the streets, Republicans have the senate and the high courts and will block or delay any plan the democrats will come up with... All this hampering will delay the recovery. That in turn will be blamed on Biden.... Cue Trump come 2024 elections, returning like a massiah to his unwavering fans... It's a scary scary thought but plausible.

Scenario 2. After the results are announced (either way) civil War erupts (Trump Jr on Twitter has already began encouraging it).

Scenario 3. Trump gets arrested upon leaving the office for his political crimes.

Scenario 4. Trump gets arrested for inciting violence. If violence erupts which results in serious injury or death to American citizens, surely he can be charged with inciting violence? The law states that you don't have to take part in the crime committed, but if you incited it and a crime took place, you are held responsible.

Just a few things for you guys and girls to chew on!

Biden ( if he wins) will not prosecute Trump. He will try to calm Trump supporters. That being said certain states may go after Trump.

No violent civil war. There may be isolated violence perpetrated by right wing nuts.

Biden will try to work with Republicans, Republicans may welcome his efforts as they will attempt to put Trump behind them.
Both parties have been highly damaged by Trump and both will try to heal the country. Although the Republicans will still be pricks about it.

But...what should the Democrats do to win back the "working class" and "country folk"?

We failed to get votes from them in a big time way.

Here are some of my ideas, ala Trump and his supporters:
    1. Eliminate all gun laws. The good old boys love their toys. This would take away one of the biggest Republican lies.
If a few first graders die as a result, so be it. It is what it is,
    2. Outlaw all abortions. For any reason. Any pregnant woman must bear the child.
    3. Declare the Christian religion the official religion of the United States.
Start every school day with a Christian prayer, and teach Intelligent design in all Science classes.
    4. Eliminate all taxes. Taxes bad.
    5. Eliminate all regulations on everything.
    6. Eliminate all socialist programs such as public highways and such.
    7. Stop all emigration, for any reason. Unless the immigrant has blond hair and blue eyes.
    8. Ban all public protests that protest any of the above.
    9. Give all police officers carte blanche. The police can do no wrong. No police officer can ever be prosecuted for anything he or she does in the line of duty.
    10. Recall all troops from everywhere in the world, including ships and submarines. At the same time increase military spending by 100%. Use the military to construct a permanent wall around all land based borders north and south. Ships and submarines will be used to patrol the coasts and block ports to stop the import of any foreign goods, raw materials, or people.

I may be accused of making light of this subject or posting ridiculous ideas, but I feel this is the mentality of the "working class" and "country folk". Deep thinking is not a trait among them in my view. I really feel these ideas are have the best shot at getting their future vote.

So, basically... Both parties run the same platform? Because this is the Republican platform now.
