You should go to LED lamps, I save about £150 a year on electric since doing this, just make sure you use natural white lamps or the colour is awful, the other way is, if the earth loop value is low enough, to replace the B type MCB with a C type, this has a higher inrush factor and will not trip when a lamp blows, but will still react to a fault.
Incidentally, what are the flowers like when these light bulbs come into flower?
