For the last fifty years I have heard Republicans contend people who file charges with the courts are un-American and none Christian. I heard Republicans say workers should not file for worker compensation benefits after being hurt on the job. I heard Republicans claim people who got hurt in car accidents are just faking Whip-lash injuries. Over and again I heard these Republicans say Black people should not be allowed to file housing and work discrimination cases. When Al Gore filed for recounts in Florida and Ohio, these Republicans said he was a sore loser, and should accept the will of the American voters. Now that it's twist of fate, the Republicans are running to the courts because they cannot win by popular or electoral vote. It reinforces our assumptions which jumped up like a red flag when Lady Graham and Mitch McConnell flip flopped on the Supreme Court appointments.

Expected Trump response: They're good people. Make a deal with them.

    From Yahoo news:

"Man arrested in Philadelphia in plot to attack vote-counting center

In Philadelphia, police said they arrested one man and seized a weapon as part of an investigation into a purported plot to attack the city's Pennsylvania Convention Center, where votes were being counted.

According to local reports, a group of heavily-armed demonstrators drove to Philadelphia from Virginia in a Hummer to carry out the alleged attack on the convention center. Police did not identify the detained suspect or provide details about the threat. But video from ABC's Philadelphia affiliate showed the suspect being taken away in handcuffs and police retrieving a large gun, later reported to be an AR-15 rifle.

According to Reuters, the Hummer, emblazoned with stickers linked to the QAnon conspiracy movement, was seized by police."

I like sarcasm, but then again, I like beer.
I understand that the secret service is sending more agents to protect Biden, and Harris.

The Republican Party has no platform now, except whatever the will of the Donald.

It's time to take away their guns, confederate flags, and force them to renounce their loyalty to the confederacy. This entire last four years has been an attempt by them to reinvent the confederacy. They claim discrimination ended in America when we elected a Black man to the presidency; however, not a single one of them voted for him. And by demanding that our government stop all government services to poor and colored people is in fact what the confederates are all about. They want an America by the white man and for the white man. That's what they mean by taking their country back. WE TRUE AMERICANS need to have our police forces to identify them, and go after them hard.

I just saw an article which told Trump had called Twitter -his favored propaganda tool - out of control! After laughing hard enough to work up a healthy shit, I determined that it is he Trump who is out of control. I think he is both mentally deficient and out of control.

    I don't know that it's sarcasm.
I keep hearing that the Democrats have no message for the working class and farmers (or hillbillies either).

So what do they want? All the things I listed, as far as I can tell.

When Reagan was ready to leave office in January 1989, SNL did a skit about Nancy refusing to leave the White House. Actor Phil Hartman was dressed up as Barbara Bush and trying to convince Nancy to leave.

The Secret Service had to come in and pick up Nancy by the arms and legs and drag her away. The tea set items on the coffee table toppled over as Nancy tried to grab on to anything to stay.

Barbara was smacking Nancy on the knuckles to break her grip as she was being dragged away.

A similar sketch needs to be done about Trump.

That is true. They had no platform committee at their convention this year.

You are never going to please everybody, and is it the government’s job to do that? I am an Obama supporter, but I didn’t like everything he did as President.

How Stacey Abrams became the 'architect' of Biden's Georgia surge
    Jon Ward, Senior Political Correspondent
    Yahoo News

How Stacey Abrams became the 'architect' of Biden's Georgia surge

    excerpt:

"This massive increase in Georgia’s Democratic vote came from a few things: population growth, the implementation of automatic voter registration in 2016, and Stacey Abrams’s organizing work over the past decade.

“Stacey is the architect of how we are where we are in Georgia,” said DuBose Porter, who was chairman of the Georgia Democratic Party during the years that Abrams was beginning her push nearly a decade ago to start registering more voters in the state.

For years, many Democrats have spoken of growing diversity in states like Texas, hoping it might lead to a political shift. But competitiveness in the Lone Star State has eluded the Democrats, while Georgia is now firmly in swing state territory. The Georgia story shows the importance of on-the-ground organizing, building durable institutions and the kind of leadership provided by a figure like Abrams."

What are you talking about? The Union required all I mentioned at the end of the civil war. The Union allowed them to keep their hunting weapons so they could feed their families after the war. Today we can take their guns and give them some food stamps.
