Lee Chatfield of MI who visited Trump dubiously at the White House before the MI vote certification changed his Twitter main pic to the image of his face and name that was projected onto the Trump International Hotel in DC by protesters.

It shows how far up Trump's backside Chatfield will go.

Shirkey and his spokesperson didn't say who paid for the trip, although the spokesperson said it wasn't government money.

Shirkey and Chatfield were seen drinking a $500 bottle of wine at Trump International Hotel in DC.

Trump tweets undermines Michigan leaders, Chatfield spotted at hotel

    excerpt:

"A spokeswoman for Shirkey said he covered the cost of his trip, including accommodations. While she said no taxpayer dollars were used, she would not specify whether he used campaign funds or personal money to pay for those costs. Shirkey declined additional comment through the spokeswoman."

Trump is trying to BS his way out of this. He "makes a deal" to leave the white house peacefully and serve house arrest at one his luxury properties. His lawyers will argue he is a typical white collar criminal at most and look at how cooperative he has been in sentencing. The rich don't really serve time and his cult is paying him. All the fraud donations are going to that and he can count on them to keep flowing. Kids all across America are being told their Christmas gift money has gone to "freedom".

He should feel bad about stealing from Santa but he once stole from a children's charity so of course he does not.

I am skeptical he will be charged with anything and if he is that he will not flee to Russia. But I also see him getting nervous. No doubt his lawyers have suggested this path.

I had another look at Jacobson v Mass to get a better understanding of this vaccination and public safety issue. I can't remember from school if Jacobson was a criminal case or what? He was fined $5 at the time over the small pox vaccine refusal. The issue important to the court was public safety. They had no problem understanding that personal liberty was not an unlimited shield against state police powers. In plain English: You are free to do as you wish unless you harm others. Isn't that same line of thinking us often by Libertarians? In the New York case, it's a state police power issue; however, I don't think anyone had been charged with a crime? So it went to the court as a First Amendment matter v. a Criminal Law matter? That would explain in a way why The Right Wing Five went that way?

He should really just stop making any more public speeches from here on out. His disposition is getting weaker and dissipating, and creating more embarrassment to the country.

Trump can now call his own appointed Judge Stephanos Bibas an enemy of the people.

Trump wholeheartedly endorsed Georgia secretary of state Raffensperger in 2018. Now he calls him an enemy of the people.

If recounts show Biden with even more votes, Trump will simply contend that it's more fraudulent votes that Biden has to prove were not fraudulent before he can become president.

A major hole in Trump's lawsuits is that they selectively desire to overturn only the presidential election. All the other elections would also be subject to the alleged fraud.

Trump selectively chooses the highly urban regions that voted heavily for Biden while ignoring rural regions that favored Trump..

All of Trump's fraud allegations are supposedly detrimental to only him, not Biden.

Perhaps out of fear of sanctions,Trump's lawyers have never actually claimed fraud in their lawsuits. They've claimed what could be considered minor issues that involve state law, such as distance of poll watchers to ballot workers. They've used such grievances to call for a remedy that would involve discarding hundreds of thousands of votes from Biden-favored regions.

Federal appeals court issues stinging rejection of Trump campaign election fraud lawsuit
“Voters, not lawyers, choose the President,” the court writes.

Federal appeals court issues stinging rejection of Trump campaign election fraud lawsuit

    excerpt:

"The court found that the number of ballots the Trump campaign sought to challenge is far smaller than the roughly 81,000-vote margin of victory, and most of the claims revolve around questions of state law -- not federal law -- that have already been resolved in state court.

"And it never claims fraud or that any votes were cast by illegal voters," the court states. "Plus, tossing out millions of mail-in ballots would be drastic and unprecedented, disenfranchising a huge swath of the electorate and upsetting all down-ballot races too. That remedy would be grossly disproportionate to the procedural challenges raised.""

Ellis blames the court losses on activist judges.

Judge Stephanos Bibas, who signed the unanimous opinion of the three-judge panel, is a Republican who was appointed by Trump in 2017.

In the end, Trump will also blame it on the courts. He has already stated that he needs a judge that isn't politically biased or who doesn't have 'other problems'.

Powell says it's time for the U.S. Supreme Court. She will have an uphill battle, assuming it even accepts the case.

Federal appeals court issues stinging rejection of Trump campaign election fraud lawsuit

    excerpt:

"Ellis tweeted a reaction to the ruling that she said was on behalf of herself and Giuliani, saying "the activist judicial machinery in Pennsylvania continues to cover up the allegations of massive fraud."

"On to SCOTUS!" she wrote, referencing her previously-stated desire to elevate the campaign’s case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The opinion came as an ally of the president, attorney Sidney Powell, filed a fresh legal complaint alleging a wide-ranging election fraud conspiracy -- also with scant proof -- in federal court in Georgia. Trump has continued to repeat those claims both on social media and in public remarks this week, including at a Republican caucus meeting organized by Pennsylvania state legislators on Wednesday."

You know Trump deserved to lose for many of his actions ,his administration is corrupt and that alone is reason for his presidency to end,but when I read stories like this on Twitter then I just get so angry,we can't say for sure that if he had treated the pandemic more seriously that these people may not have died anyway but he deserves to be held to account.
Captain Katherine Hughart, 61yo ER RN, Western Arizona Regional Med Center, died of #COVID19 . She served 3 tours in Iraq and returned to nursing to help during the pandemic. She was laid to rest with full military honors

Trump's appointment of Stepanos Bibas filled a seat that had been vacant since July 2015. Republicans in the U.S. Senate had blocked Obama's nominations.

The coronavirus has killed over 100 police officers.

Trump addressed the U.S. troops on Thanksgiving Day but he always avoids talking about coronavirus deaths, even though he claims to be friendly to troops and police officers.

Covid-19 has killed more police officers this year than all other causes combined, data shows
    Christopher Ingraham
    September 2, 2020 at 1:29 p.m. ED

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/09/02/coronavirus-deaths-police-officers-2020/

    excerpt:

"NLEOMF reported a nearly identical number of covid-related law enforcement deaths. It also noted that fatalities due to non-covid causes are actually down year-over-year, undermining President Trump’s claims that “law enforcement has become the target of a dangerous assault by the radical left.”

Both organizations only count covid deaths “if it is determined that the officer died as a result of exposure to the virus while performing official duties,” as the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund put it. “Substantive evidence will be required to show the death was more than likely due to the direct and proximate result of a duty-related incident.”

In addition to the 100 confirmed coronavirus fatalities listed on the Officer Down website, the nonprofit said it is in the process of verifying an additional 150 officer deaths due to covid-19 and presumed to have been contracted in the line of duty, said Chris Cosgriff, executive director of ODMP, in an email."
