Giuliani's remarks about the VIrginia election.

'I Know Crooks Really Well' Giuliani Says Before Absurdly Claiming Trump Might Have Won Virginia

    excerpt:

"Despite Trump’s cancellation, Giuliani still attended Wednesday’s “hearing” in Pennsylvania, where he falsely claimed that Trump may have won Virginia, a state that the president lost by more than 450,000 votes.

“[Virginia] turned out to be separated by 1 percent!” Giuliani falsely claimed during the hearing. “I think we may actually have won Virginia.”

As Bloomberg News reporter Josh Wingrove notes, the official results actually show that Trump lost Virginia by 10 percentage points.

Giuliani went on to claim that the entire election in Pennsylvania was illegitimate and had been rigged by criminals, which he said he knows “really well.”"

"I know crooks really well,” Giuliani said of the alleged criminals in Pennsylvania. “You give them an inch and they take a mile. And you give them a mile and they take your whole country!”

Washington Post: White House Budget office moving to reclassify key roles under Trump executive order
    By Veronica Stracqualursi, CNN
Updated 12:21 PM ET, Sat November 28, 2020

Washington Post: White House Budget office moving to reclassify key roles - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"Following an executive order President Donald Trump signed last month, the Office of Management and Budget is moving to reclassify 88% of its workforce into a new job classification that would give the federal government more flexibility to fire these employees without going through a lengthy appeals process, The Washington Post reported Friday.

The budget office identified 425 of its employees -- including analysts and other experts -- who would switch to a "Schedule F" classification under the executive order by Trump, according to the Post. The move was first reported by Real Clear Politics."

Trump's recount targeted Milwaukee and Dane counties which Biden won with 69% and 75% of the vote, respectively. If there are uncounted ballots found in those counties during a recount, Biden would be more likely than Trump to garner a net gain because a large percentage of people voted for him in those counties.

Biden picked up a net gain of 132 votes over Trump in the Milwaukee County recount.

A better plan for Trump may have been to focus recounts on populated Trump-favored counties in WI in the hopes of finding uncounted ballots where he would be more likely than Biden to garner a net gain. A couple of missing ballot incidents occurred in Georgia during a statewide hand recount which revealed uncounted ballots in Trump-favored counties. One set of about 2600 uncounted ballots gave Trump a net gain of about 800 votes.

The jerk wants to do serious damage before he leaves office. He also wants to sell The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to Oil Companies; and, he also wants to sell Fanny May and Freddy Mac so Americans can not get government backed mortgages for some time, until Biden can fix it. On the international scene, he wants to start some wars around the world, like Mauritania, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. That way Biden has his hands full every morning with CIA briefings. On the reclassification of federal workers, it just follows that Republicans have for many years been opposed to worker rights. They want at will employment so they can fire people at will, even working people who refuse to do illegal acts for their employer.

Dane County, WI had an even higher percentage of votes for Biden than Milwaukee County. If a recount reveals uncounted ballots in Dane, they would more likely give a net gain to Biden rather than Trump.

Trump could still gain votes over Biden due to other issues detected by a recount.

Dane hasn't yet finished its recount.

Trump lost to Biden in Wisconsin by about 20,600 votes.

In the context of Trump trying to win Wisconsin by locating legal missing ballots during a recount, he would need to produce a net gain of 20,600 votes through uncounted ballots.

Consider the optimistic scenario of locating missing ballots in a Trump-favored region where Trump received 30% more votes than Biden. To become even with Biden, Trump would need to locate a number of missing votes equal to 1/0.3 = 3.3 times his current 20,600 loss margin. That's 3.3*20,600 = 67,980 missing ballots to locate in a region where 30% more people voted for Trump than Biden.

It's part of why Trump is relying on truther narratives that claim that Dominion machines nefariously switched tens of thousands of votes from him to Biden and that tens of thousands of illegal signatures were used for Biden votes.

Trump refuses to accept reality at the Thanksgiving Day presser.

Trump's attorneys admitted in court that poll watchers were allowed in the rooms. A judge in MI threw out Trump's case.

'A poll watcher is - it's considered sacred in our country. When they throw them out of rooms -'

Collins interrupted, saying: 'But that’s not true. They didn’t do that.'

    'Sure, it is,' Trump replied.

'Your attorneys admitted they were in the room,' Collins said.

Trump replied: 'Excuse me. No, they didn't. My attorneys did not admit anything. And it's all different places.'

Trump appears to be referring to disruptive observers who were escorted out of the convention center in MI when the number of poll watchers exceeded the number allowed.

Behind Trump’s Yearslong Effort to Turn Losing Into Winning

    excerpt:

"Republican volunteers suddenly ramped up their objections across the room: accusations that the workers doing the counting were entering obviously incorrect birth years or backdating ballots. In some cases, the volunteers lodged blanket claims of wrongdoing.

“What are you doing?” a worker asked a Republican observer who was challenging ballots before he was able to even begin to inspect them, a Democratic observer, Seth Furlow, recalled. The Republican observer responded, “I was told to challenge every one.”

Mr. Furlow vividly recalled his discomfort with a scene in which mostly white Republican challengers were confronting the mostly Black elections workers.

Already, the police had escorted a handful of particularly disruptive observers from the room. But tensions increased when election officials noticed that the number of challengers had grown well beyond what each side was permitted and barred entry in a bid to reduce their ranks. Shouts of “stop the count” went up among Republicans.

Behind Trump’s Yearslong Effort to Turn Losing Into Winning

    excerpt:

"The fraud that the Republicans claimed to observe was not fraud at all, a Michigan state judge determined on Friday in rejecting a lawsuit filed by allies of Mr. Trump. The various instances of supposed malfeasance were in fact well-established procedures for dealing with the peculiarities of data entry, the correction of minor errors and protocols for social distancing — all intended to ensure a careful and accurate vote count.

But in the fact-twisting narrative of Mr. Trump, his political allies and his supporters, the Detroit counting center was a crime scene where Democrats stole an election, a miscarriage demanding that outrage be channeled through the courts, presidential Twitter posts and cable news stemwinders.""

AP FACT CHECK: Trump distorts military role in vaccines

AP FACT CHECK: Trump distorts military role in vaccines

    excerpt:

"In fact, the military will not distribute the vaccine, although state governors have the power to use members of their National Guard for any number of tasks supporting public safety, including to help with vaccine logistics if deemed necessary.

“There will not be this vision that some people have that there will be Army trucks driving through the streets delivering vaccine,” Perna said Oct. 27.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, not the military, is in charge of the distribution effort, which is based on plans drawn up by each state and other jurisdictions. The distribution will be executed by private companies including McKesson Corp., a health care company that has extensive experience in the distribution of flu vaccines. McKesson also will distribute supplies needed to administer the shots.

Nor will the military produce, store or administer the vaccines. The Pentagon has been saying for months that it would only get involved in vaccine distribution in the event that commercial distributors were unable to reach a remote area of the country.

“The federal military will not be involved in moving any doses or injecting any vaccines,” Paul Mango, the deputy chief of staff for policy at Health and Human Services, said Oct. 24.

The Pentagon has pointedly disputed suggestions that it intends to be delivering vaccines, saying instead that any involvement would be by exception, such as a case in which normal commercial delivery services could not reach a delivery point. Thus far, no such exception has been identified, the Pentagon said this past week.

Rumors are circulating about a possible Trump 2024 campaign rally on Biden's inauguration day.

Trump May Hold Rally During Biden’s Inauguration

    excerpt:

“According to three people familiar with the conversations, the president, who refuses to acknowledge he lost the 2020 election as he clearly did, has not just talked to close advisers and confidants about a potential 2024 run to reclaim the White House but about the specifics of a campaign launch. The conversations have explored, among other things, how Trump could best time his announcement so as to keep the Republican Party behind him for the next four years. Two of these knowledgeable sources said the president has, in the past two weeks, even floated the idea of doing a 2024-related event during Biden’s inauguration week, possibly on Inauguration Day, if his legal effort to steal the 2020 election ultimately fails.”

Trump says he won 2020 and refuses to concede, his base is supposed to think he's still the president, and Biden isn't... yet he wants to run again in 2024...

Wouldn't that be a third term?

How are these people this fucking stupid?

Both Christmas trees at Trump's Thanksgiving Day presser were not decorated.

Along with Trump's small desk, it made the scene look unfinished.

He won’t get the press coverage. The press needs to quit giving him coverage after he leaves office.
