Trump pardoned Flynn prospectively of any possible future ciminal prosecution that may be uncovered in the future as a result of Mueller's investigation, including side issues that Mueller discovered during his investigation. That's a broad paint stroke, similar to Ford's pardon of Nixon for an array of crimes for which he had yet to be prosecuted.
Similar to the way he pardoned Flynn, Trump could potentially try to pardon himself (or have Pence do it by resigning) to try to short-circuit possible future prosecution of him for any potential crimes that may have been uncovered by any investigation of him while in office. It calls into question whether someone like Trump, who during his first term could pardon himself and his associates of potential future felony convictions, should even be eligible to run for office again. Such people would be effectively shielding themselves from prosecution of felonies during a subsequent elected term in public office. It can be argued that such a person isn't faithfully executing the office and would be violating the oath of office.
Nixon was pardoned by Ford after leaving office. He was already in his second term and didn't have the opportunity like Trump to run for another term as a pardoned former president. Nixon faced a Senate that would have likely removed him from office for the Watergate activity. Trump could be pardoned during his first term. He apparently has a desire to run for a second non-consecutive term. In contrast to Nixon, the threat of being run out of office by impeachment could be low for Trump in a second term if he still has protective people like McConnell in control of the Senate. He could have the protection of a previous pardon of him to hamper investigations of him while in a second term. Not being able to fully investigate a president during a second term due to a previous, preemptive, prospective, broad-stroke pardon hampers the ability to remove a president from office via impeachment.

Trump is upset with Section 230 because #DiaperDon trended so highly on Twitter. Trump is threatening to veto the military spending bill if Section 230 is not fully terminated. Congress shoots down Trump's threat to veto defense bill excerpt: "Still, Republicans on Wednesday showed some signs of exasperation with the president’s latest effort. As one GOP lawmaker put it: “Republicans are sick of this shit.” Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), who sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee, put it more delicately. While he said he understood the president’s frustrations with Section 230, it was not worth imperiling the broader defense bill. “The NDAA is so important to the men and women that wear the uniform that this should not be an item to veto the act over,” he said. “So I would hope he would reconsider his position on it.”"
Trump would need 37 electoral votes of the six swing states in question that Biden won to not be available due to state elections not being certified. That would place Biden at 269 electoral votes, not enough to become president. That wouldn't make Trump president either, as he would still be stuck at 232 electoral votes. Trump currently needs 38 more electoral votes to have the 270 needed to become president. . The largest electoral vote of the six swing states in question is PA which has 20. One state switching its slate from Biden to Trump isn't sufficient for Trump to become president. All six swing states in question have already certified their election results for Biden. Rep. Mike Kelly of PA has petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to decertify PA's election certification in an attempt to take away 20 electoral votes from Biden. At least three of the six swing states would need to flip their electoral slate from Biden to Trump for Trump to become president in terms of what is considered the usual process of using the 538 electoral votes of the states to select the president.
This brinkmanship behavior of Trump that uses the livelihood of members of the armed services as a bargaining chip to retaliate for the high trending #DiaperDon on Twitter (which stemmed from his childish behavior at the Thanksgiving Day presser) is part of why Trump lost support of service members. It contributed to his election loss that he now attributes to Hugo Chavez who died in 2013 and other truther narratives.
Michael Flynn.... you know... the criminal that just got a pardon. Yeah, that guy... Anyways... Michael Flynn wants Trump to declare Martial Law, suspend the constitution, and redo the election with military oversight.

Trump gets icy reception as he tries to influence final days of lame duck Congress excerpt: "Lawmakers and staff involved in crafting government funding legislation say the negotiations have been proceeding smoothly. Yet there remains the fear that Trump could issue last-minute demands that threaten its timely passage. “He’s so mercurial that there is that risk,” said Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I. “But there’s a case to be made that he’d just as soon go out on a high note having done something, than having simply been a cause of further pain, obstruction and illness.” Senate Finance Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said Trump is using his final weeks to exact revenge over “grudges” and that Covid-19 relief is “far from his priority list.” “He’s angry about the fact that he lost the election and he’s trying to bring his grudges in any area, however unrelated,” he said. “Trump has one interest above all else here in the last week, which is himself.”"
Republican McSally lost two Senate races to Democratic candidates, Sinema in 2018 and Kelly in 2020. McSally lost to Kelly in 2020 after being appointed by Gov. Ducey to temporarily fill a Senate seat. She had replaced Sen. Kyl who decided to resign after he was appointed by Ducey to fill McCain's seat when he died. McSally lost to Sinema in a Senate race in 2018 for the seat that opened due to the retirement of Republican Jeff Flake. The end result is that AZ now has two Democratic U.S. senators, Kelly and Sinema, which hasn't occurred since 1952. Trump is upset that Kelly was sworn in just after the 2020 vote certification signed by Gov. Ducey which gives Democrats 48 votes in the Senate. He's even more upset that Ducey signed the certification and ignored his phone call during the signing ceremony. 2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona - Wikipedia excerpt: "The 2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona was held on November 3, 2020. However, Kyl announced he would resign the following December 31 On December 18, 2018, Ducey announced that outgoing U.S. Representative Martha McSally would be appointed to fill the seat following Kyl's resignation, which would trigger a special election. McSally was sworn in as the state's junior U.S. Senator on January 3, 2019, less than two months after she was defeated by Democrat Kyrsten Sinema for Arizona's Class I U.S. Senate seat. McSally ran to complete the term, defeating skincare executive Daniel McCarthy in the Republican primary. She faced former astronaut Mark Kelly, who ran uncontested in the Democratic primary. Primary elections took place on August 4, 2020."
We need more people that would ignore phone calls from Trump... And tweets, and rallies, and press conferences, and speeches...
Democrats winning the two Senate seats in Georgia in the runoff election on Jan. 5 would give them 50 seats. The Vice President breaks ties which would give Democrats control of the Senate. The behavior of Trump and Powell could tilt the election toward Democrats. Trump has sowed seeds of doubt in the minds of Republican voters in Georgia about the election process that he says has rampant corruption. Powell has called for a boycott of the Jan. 5 election. Democrat Ossoff lost to Perdue by 1.8% in the Nov. 3. election. Democrat Warnock beat Loeffler by 7% in the Nov. 3 election.
Powell gets peppered by Pepper. Wisconsin Federal Judge Picks Apart Sidney Powell and Lin Wood’s Lawsuit in ‘Brutal’ Order excerpts: "Thus, under the court’s rules, the defendants have up to 21 days to respond to the complaint, meaning a response isn’t required until a week after the Electoral College votes President-elect Joe Biden into office." "As attorney Mike Dunford put it: “it would appear that Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, and the rest of their lunatics managed to get more things wrong while initiating a case than anyone should be able to possibly manage without making a conscious effort.”"
What will you do in 12 days when the electors meet and Trump is officially out on his ass, along with his slovenian gold-digging wife?
A retired United States Army lieutenant general is calling for a coup d'état in the United states - unbelievable. As a private citizen he has a right to free speech, If he was still in the army he would be tried and shot for treason.
