I like Spanish speaking people. I met some from Argentina, Guatemala, and Uruguay and liked them real well. If I hit the lottery, I'll move to Argentina maybe. The women there are just beautiful and have big boobies like the Lebanese women.

 

When I was a 16 year old driving in old cars that sometimes broke down--it was always Mexicans that stopped to help. Always. And when I worked for the 2nd biggest roofing company in California, many, many workers were from Mexico and Central America and were hard workers and good dudes. They had some interesting stories about hiding from right wing kill squads and making their way north.

 

I would like to go also. I know a couple of conservatives who went to Cuba before trump’s embargo, and they really enjoyed it.

I have a friend who grew up on a farm in Tennessee, but knew at a young age that life wasn’t for him. He moved to California, and started working construction jobs. He said you could always count on the Mexicans if you wanted something done.

 

I'd say that the more Americans and folks from other countries visit Cuba, the better chance for the government to become more liberal. I would NOT say this in Miami! I understand why Castro overthrew the previous government--the mafia had a stranglehold on the economy. Communism should not have been the result, but benign socialism should have.

Census Bureau to miss deadline, jeopardizing Trump plan

"The Census Bureau plans to announce it will miss a year-end deadline for handing in numbers used for divvying up congressional seats, a delay that could undermine President Donald Trump’s efforts to exclude people in the country illegally from the count if the figures aren’t turned in before President-elect Joe Biden takes office.

It will be the first time that the Dec. 31 target date is missed since the deadline was implemented more than four decades ago by Congress. A census official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter confirmed the delay to the Associated Press on Wednesday.

Internal documents obtained earlier this month by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform show that Census Bureau officials don’t see the apportionment numbers being ready until days after Biden is inaugurated on Jan. 20.

Once in office, Biden could rescind Trump’s presidential memorandum directing the Census Bureau to exclude people in the country illegally from numbers used for divvying up congressional seats among the states. An influential GOP adviser had advocated excluding them from the apportionment process in order to advantage Republicans and non-Hispanic whites."

The louder they scream that nothing makes any damned sense, including actually listening to anyone, the faster conservatives are killing themselves, quite literally. Donald Duck is the proverbial loose cannon on deck, and he is whipping the damned chickens into a killing frenzy, and watching them kill themselves.

I lived next door to a Mexican American man and his wife back in Colorado. He knew more than I did about truck repair and always come by to help me when I was doing work on my truck. His wife used to baby sit my daughter. His daughter and my daughter were best friends growing up. In the fall, all the Mexican families on our street used to bring Chili from Hatch New Mexico and we would roast them in the front yard and eat and drink and party into the night.
