What does the US do with the other half?

Florida resident Adam Christian Johnson, 36, was booked into the Pinellas County jail on Friday night, and he’s being held on a federal warrant, the Miami Herald reported.

 

The right-wing hate media keeps pushing the lies and fueling the flames. That is one of the places that need to be looked into. Reinstating the fairness act would help a little. Find a way to do something with those billionaire think tanks they are more involved in this than people realize. Get all that money out of politics pass move to amend. So basically for a good start rein in the media and get that billionaire money out of there.

 

But of course the big obstacle to doing that is the courts, which have been taken over by persons of right wing persuasion. They will say, as they have before, that the billionaires are exercising their First Amendment right of free speech, since money talks (Citizens United v. FCC). And that the rationale for fairness doctrine--the scarcity of television and radio frequencies available--doesn't apply to cable and satellite media. Instead of broadcasting, we now have narrowcasting, based on the right of every "murican to have his/her facts and live in his/her reality.
