Frankly , I'm hoping that he loses most of his money, he and his crime family are indicted and convicted of crimes and and are all but forgotten except in history books as the worst administration in history. If there is any such thing as Karma---all will be well in the coming years as they pay and pay bigly for what they have done / haven't done, and who they have stirred up. The democrats had better try and even out the inequities in the financial situation in this country and I mean for those of color and especially the poor whites who have been most susceptible to being stirred up by the right wing for decades ,even as it is and always was the right wing who have CONSISTENTLY been against these same working people. I have NO idea how to handle such outfits as Fox and all the other right wing fuckheads who still--STILL continue to foment division in the citizenry.

There are many,many issues to confront by the incoming Biden administration. First: reverse whatever needs reversing of the damage Trump and the republicans have done to the institutions of our government and second: repair the fractured relations around the world between our country and those that have been ignored / insulted by this narcissisticly driven "joke "of a president. I wish them well and let's not forget that the republicans will try to take back the House in 2022-----we CANNOT let that happen or McConnell and the right wingers will control the government ---AGAIN!!.

Trump's Census Director To Quit After Trying To Rush Out 'Indefensible' Report

"The Trump-appointed director of the U.S. Census Bureau is stepping down close to a week after whistleblower complaints about his role in attempting to rush out an incomplete data report about noncitizens became public.

In an internal email announcement on Monday, Steven Dillingham said he is retiring from the bureau on Wednesday, more than 11 months before his term expires at the end of this year, according to a Census Bureau employee who spoke to NPR and asked not to be named for fear of retaliation at work.

The bureau's public information office has not responded to NPR's request for comment about Dillingham's plans, which were first reported by Talking Points Memo.

Dillingham's departure clears the entire slate of Trump appointees at the federal government's largest statistical agency as its civil servants continue to toil over 2020 census records and prepare for the release of the first results from last year's national head count, which has been delayed until March 6 at the earliest.

All other Trump officials will also have left the bureau by Wednesday, when President-elect Joe Biden is set to be sworn in, Michael Cook, the agency's chief spokesperson, confirmed to NPR last week."

 

FBI vetting all service members in Washington for the inauguration

"U.S. defense officials say they are worried about an inside attack or other threat from service members involved in securing President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, the Associated Press reported.

As a result, the FBI is now vetting all service members on hand in the capital to support the inauguration, an Army official told NBC News on Sunday.

“The Army is working with the FBI to vet all service members supporting the Inauguration National Special Security Event,” the official said.

Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told the AP that officials were conscious of the potential threat, and warned commanders to be on the lookout for any issues as the inauguration approaches."

 

Trump and his supporters have ranted for years about immigrants supposedly starting trouble.

I have the utmost respect for the military having served for six years in the air force

But sadly they need to be vetted because there are active military personnel who don’t hide the fact that they’re white supremacists, and absolutely
believe we African Americans don’t deserve to be in the military.

Just one trump supporter dedicated to the cause and with no ambition other than to make a name for himself in history -- well it could get ugly.

 

I seriously doubt that these people travel out if the country, but I get your point.
That’s part of the problem. They don’t expose themselves to different cultures, so that’s why they fear them.
Some of the ones that do travel make us all out to be rubes.

 

The only reason they travelled to DC is someone paid for it.

 

Yeah traveling from a white supremacist compound in Idaho, to a militia outpost in Michigan, to a riot in Washington DC, doesn’t exactly make you
a jetsetter, a world traveler, a globetrotter…..lol..
