Sadly, Fox News is as American as it gets, because the only fucking thing they care about is money. Rupert Murdoch would make Ebenezer Scrooge cringe, and would sell Tiny Tim to the highest bidder. Rest assured, it will be business as usual, with the exception of Fox News actually being declared "REAL NEWS" and, not entertainment. Its amazing how you can hold Libertarians accountable for all the crap they spout, if you can sue them.

Harris, Durbin, and Ryan could see problems worsening with Trump's relentless attempts to overturn the election. It eventually culminated in the Capitol riot.

Trump, in Taped Call, Pressured Georgia Official to ‘Find’ Votes to Overturn Election

    excerpt:

"Vice President-elect Kamala Harris — at a drive-in rally for Georgia’s Democratic Senate candidates in Garden City, Ga. — referred on Sunday to Mr. Trump’s call, saying it was “the voice of desperation — most certainly that.”

“And it was a bald, baldfaced, bold abuse of power by the president of the United States,” she added.

Senator Richard J. Durbin, Democrat of Illinois and one of the leaders in the Senate, said the call was “more than a pathetic, rambling, delusional rant,” calling the president “unhinged and dangerous” and saying that Mr. Trump’s Republican allies “are putting the orderly and peaceful transition of power in our nation at risk.”

Former Speaker Paul D. Ryan, a Republican who has largely stayed silent in recent weeks, urged his former colleagues on Sunday to abandon their challenge to the results, calling it the most “anti-democratic and anti-conservative act” he could think of."

McConnell: Trump 'provoked' crowd that stormed Capitol

    excerpt:

"Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Tuesday accused President Trump of provoking the violent crowd that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

“The last time the Senate convened, we had just reclaimed the Capitol from violent criminals who tried to stop Congress from doing our duty. The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people,” McConnell said on the Senate floor, marking the first convening of the full Senate since the attack.

McConnell’s statements carry significance ahead of an anticipated Senate impeachment trial. The GOP leader has told colleagues he hasn’t yet decided how he would vote on a House-passed article of impeachment against Trump.

His remark that the crowd was “fed lies” is a reference to baseless and debunked claims spread by Trump and members of his legal team and inner circle that widespread election fraud cost Trump a second term. Trump has not formally conceded the race to President-elect Joe Biden.

Trump told supporters gathered at a rally near the White House on Jan. 6, shortly before the mob stormed the Capitol, that “they rigged it like they have never rigged an election” and declared “we won this election and we won it by a landslide.”

Several people died amid the riot on Jan. 6, including a Capitol Police officer who was injured while responding to the mob."

Timely news ---PRICK! 4 years of lying and NOW you call him out? Pffffft. If he had been elected you'd still have your nose firmly embedded in Trumps ass.

McConnell has one last opportunity to formally impart guilt onto Trump at the upcoming impeachment trial.

The former pediatric occupational therapist from Willoughby, OH made it all the way up to the desk on the Senate floor where Mike Pence had been speaking minutes earlier.

America doesn't have two parties, we have one party, because calling the Tea Party a political party is a joke in bad taste. If anything good came out of Hillary losing the election, it was Donald Duck encouraging a third of the country to kill themselves and demand that we shut them the fuck up. That's what this video says, is that it is now open season on republicans, but not democrats, when the sad truth is, we only have one party. Militant atheists and "radical" liberals in the US are about as coherent as Libertarians, just a little more coherent. I studied group facilitation and moderation, and Americans don't even remember what distinguishes a democracy from a lynch mob.

We shall endeavor over the coming decades, to remind them.

The FBI should just send them invitations backstage at the presidential inauguration. Save themselves the trouble of hunting them down.

White Evangelical pastors turn their back on Trump after capitol riots

    excerpt:

"Ms Harrison Warren said the storming of the Capitol was “tragic” but not “surprising”.

"For more than four years, Trump has shown that he is more than willing to say any lie, ignore any standard of decency, and bring any amount of violence and division to shore up his own power. Through manipulative disinformation, he incited an insurrection... He is happy to use religious leaders as pawns," she wrote and added that the insurrection "represents an utter failure in the American church".

Ms Harrison also wrote that the "atrocity was in large part brought to us by the white, evangelical church in America""

In his farewell address, Trump portrays himself as a uniter.

‘We did what we came here to do’: Trump tries to recast legacy in farewell address

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump tried to recast his legacy away from the violence of the past few weeks in his farewell address on Tuesday afternoon, less than 24 hours before the end of his presidency.

As he leaves office as the only twice-impeached U.S. president, Trump portrayed his political phenomenon as a unifying one, as opposed to the vitriolic, partisan warfare he engaged in throughout his presidency and campaign. And with the memory of his supporters swarming the Capitol in a deadly attack fresh in the nation’s conscience, the president used the address to try to reframe his legacy as a rosier picture of his time in office."

I've always thought Pink Floyd said it best as far as American politics are concerned, "Hello, hello, hello.... is there anybody in there?"

Evangelicals are the source of the Tea Party, and will very soon learn the meaning of, "Shut The Fuck UP!"
