A screenshot from his monitoring software shows him to be close to the White House Ellipse at the 'Stop the Steal' rally – before moving towards the area directly in front of the U.S. Capitol building between 2 and 5pm on January 6th.

Betancur was also identified on social media after he posted pictures of himself on his Instagram account 'bryan_patriot_1776' holding the corner of the Confederate battle flag."

"Two days after the Capitol riot, the FBI received a call from Betancur's probation officer, who said Betancur had told him he'd been inside the U.S. Capitol Building with the rioters.

He has now been taken into custody once again on charges of entering a restricted building or grounds, unlawful activities on Capitol Grounds and disorderly conduct.

More than 70 people have now been charged in federal court with charges in connection to the Capitol riot, and U.S. attorneys have said even more cases are expected to be filed.

The agency is examining around 140,000 photos and videos from the scene of the attack which has been sent to them by members of the public."

This highlights the utter foolishness of Trump and his advisors, placing themselves at risk over a futile attempt to overturn the election. This was before the Capitol riot that caused him to be impeached and that could precipitate criminal charges and civil complaints against him.

 

Republicans like shiny things, like gold, and pretty things, like hangings and Professional Wrestling. The only thing the Tea Party has ever represented, is the quintessential "UGLY AMERICAN!" Donald Duck would make great poor white trash, except he stole a billion dollars or so when went bankrupt, and the rise of the Tea Party reflects the fact that television and cellphones are making more of them as thick as a brick. Sadly, declaring the Tea Party an enemy of the state, is the only way to save their lives.

Sidney Powell withdraws 'kraken' lawsuit in Georgia

Sidney Powell, one of the most vocal proponents of unsubustantiated theories that Georgia's presidential election was rife with fraud, withdrew her lawsuit to overturn the results there.

The lawsuit was based on evidence-challenged claims of fraud and even went so far as to say that the late Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez - who's been dead for years - could have played a role in throwing Georgia for Biden.

However, the case was dismissed by a U.S. district judge in November, and an appeals court said she did not have standing to try the case in the 11th circuit. She quietly withdrew the suit Tuesday.

Powell herself is facing a lawsuit from Dominion over her claims, saying her viral allegations against the company cost it business. It is seeking more than $1.3 billion in damages.
