The Mexicans are working on creating their own government in LA which, considering the state of Chicago, is a good idea.
GOP lawmakers nationwide gear up to suppress more votes for the next election GOP-controlled legislatures in several states introduced legislation this week to make voting harder. Republicans began calling for such measures to be implemented in the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, making baseless claims of voter fraud to explain away Trump's defeat and saying that tackling all that fraud required new voter restrictions. Republicans in Georgia began proposing steps to make it harder to vote by mail and easier to throw out legally cast ballots after Biden beat Trump there by nearly 12,000 votes. New Hampshire's Republican-controlled state House also began hearings on a bill that would repeal same-day voter registration in the state. In Arizona, the GOP-run legislature is weighing whether to get rid of the state's Permanent Early Vote List, which allows to register to receive mail-in ballots automatically for each election.
Cotton apparently attended Ranger school, earned the Ranger tab upon successful completion of the course. Since he never served in 75th Ranger Regiment, he should have properly identified himself as being “Ranger qualified” in his military service background.
It’s a shame that GOP feels that the only way they have a chance at winning is to manipulate voter registration!
Marco Rubio: It's 'arrogant' to impeach Trump to ban him from running again He said: "Who are we to tell voters who they can vote for in the future?” By KELLY HOOPER 01/24/2021 10:38 AM EST Marco Rubio: It's 'arrogant' to impeach Trump to ban him from running again
When there's a very large turn out in state and federal elections, the democratic candidate generally has the advantage over his/her republican opponent, Republicans know that and will do everything in their power to suppress the vote, even though it's contrary to democratic principles. In Georgia there was a large black voter turnout for both the presidential election and for the Senate run-off, and in each case when Black voters turnout in great numbers, it's curtains for the republican candidate.
True Brother ... I just remember the days when even the White Conservatives were nice. In 1975 no one cared about Republican or Democrat. I used to go to country bars in the area and most people were nice. There were some southerners who used the term "Yankee" and bad mouthed northerners but I did not pay much attention. Bakersfield was full of Okies but most of them were alright. I'm thinking all the hate and resentment was fueled by people like Rush Lamebutt. The condition didn't come until later. In 1990 Darrel Assa was still half normal. Dana Roherbacher was always an idiot. California changed but over a long time. States like Indiana and Texas and Arkansas seem to have went back in time to the days of Ward and June Cleaver.
'Gondor has no king': Pro-Trump lawyer files a bizarre election lawsuit citing the imaginary kingdom in Lord of The Rings excerpt: "In the complaint, Davis also argues that every vote cast in the election was illegal, making the "entire 117th Congress illegitimate," according to the lawsuit. He asks the court to ban every sitting member of the House and Senates, all 50 governors, as well as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg from ever holding elected office or voting in an election. Adding to its wishlist, the complaint also requests that all actions of the new Congress - including certification of Biden's win and the second impeachment of Former President Donal Trump - be invalidated."
You would know that more than me. I do remember Airborne guys being based in 101st and the 82nd; but, never knew why. When I was a trucker, I did deliver freight to them and to Red Stone Arsenal, Fort Benning, Fort Ogelthorpe, Fort McClennan, Fort Bliss, Fort Hood, Fort Irwin, Fort Lewis McCord, Fort Carson, Fort Indian Town, Camp Pendelton, French Camp, Tracy, and a bunch of others. Some installations are closed now and I can't remember their names. I had to deliver parachutes to a base on the coast in California and the guard didn't know which building to send me. I remember it because it took so long to figure out what the GBL (Government Bill of Lading) instructions required.
'Gondor has no king': Pro-Trump lawyer files a bizarre election lawsuit citing the imaginary kingdom in Lord of The Rings excerpt: "Davis, who was an associate general counsel at a Texas insurance company, was fired earlier this month after posting Instagram videos of himself on the front lines of the January 6 Capitol riots. In the complaint, the former lawyer also asks the court to protect him from being taken into custody for his actions during the insurrection."
They are advertising their willingness to destroy the government, in the hopes of enlisting help. Lynch mobs do that, especially when the cavalry surrounds them.
Airborne units extend beyond the 82nd Airborne Division. There are numerous reserve airborne units and reserve special forces units throughout the US. 101st Airborne is actually an air assault (helo infiltration) division.
I remember them from Fort Campbell KY/TN. I delivered to them and they dropped in at the Flying J Truck Stop to eat at the Buffet.
