FYI, there is a petition, on the MoveOn website, to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert from Congress.

There are two references to a crack addicts which is interesting because as you probably know the mypillow guy was a former crackhead, although based
on his recent behavior the word 'former' now seems superfluous if not outright laughable ...lol..

With the current mood among the Senate GOP it looks like Trump gets off scott free. And if the Democrats want "unity" that means Trump's enablers get off scott free as well.

Long story short... Consider the January 6th insurrection as a dress rehearsal for the real thing.

Pentagon halts Trump appointments to advisory boards

    excerpt:

"The Pentagon has suspended the processing of a number of former President Donald Trump’s last-minute appointees to defense advisory boards as the new administration looks to weed out loyalists to the former president.

The move effectively prevents a number of Trump allies, including his 2016 campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and deputy campaign manager David Bossie, from actually serving on panels tasked with providing advice to the defense secretary, at least for the time being."

Trump supporting priest ousted after performing election fraud exorcisms

    excerpt:

"A priest who live-streamed himself performing exorcisms of alleged election fraud in 3 November’s presidential election, has left his post at a Roman Catholic diocese in Wisconsin.

The Diocese of Madison announced earlier this month that the parish and reverend John Zuhlsdorf had reached a mutual decision on the conservative priest leaving his post."

Reminiscent of the ending of one of the Planet Of The Apes movies when it was discovered that Washington had been destroyed and apes had taken over the world.

Checked by reality, some QAnon supporters seek a way out
Some followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory are now turning to online support groups and even therapy to help them move on, now that it's clear Donald Trump's presidency is over

Checked by reality, some QAnon supporters seek a way out

    excerpt:

"Former believers interviewed by The Associated Press liken the process of leaving QAnon to kicking a drug addiction. QAnon, they say, offers simple explanations for a complicated world and creates an online community that provides escape and even friendship.

Smith's then-boyfriend introduced her to QAnon. It was all he could talk about, she said. At first she was skeptical, but she became convinced after the death of financier Jeffrey Epstein while in federal custody facing pedophilia charges. Officials debunked theories that he was murdered, but to Smith and other QAnon supporters, his suicide while facing child sex charges was too much to accept.

Soon, Smith was spending more time on fringe websites and on social media, reading and posting about the conspiracy theory. She said she fell for QAnon content that presented no evidence, no counter arguments, and yet was all too convincing.

“We as a society need to start teaching our kids to ask: Where is this information coming from? Can I trust it?” she said. “Anyone can cut and paste anything.”

After a year, Smith wanted out, suffocated by dark prophesies that were taking up more and more of her time, leaving her terrified.

Her then-boyfriend saw her decision to move on from QAnon as a betrayal. She said she no longer believes in the theory, and wanted to share her story in the hopes it would help others.

“I was one of those people too," she said of QAnon and its grip. “I came out on the other end because I wanted to feel better.”"

Checked by reality, some QAnon supporters seek a way out

    excerpt:

"PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Ceally Smith spent a year down the rabbit hole of QAnon, devoting more and more time to researching and discussing the conspiracy theory online. Eventually it consumed her, and she wanted out.

She broke up with the boyfriend who recruited her into the movement, took six months off social media, and turned to therapy and yoga.

“I was like: I can’t live this way. I’m a single mom, working, going to school and doing the best for my children,” said Smith, 32, of Kansas City, Missouri. “I personally didn’t have the bandwidth to do this and show up for my children. Even if it was all true, I just couldn’t do it anymore.""

Therapy recovery groups are now needed that could be called QAnon Anonymous.

Federal court denies release to man who sat at Pelosi’s office desk during riot
    upload_2021-1-28_23-25-25.png

A federal judge has turned down a bid for release by the man photographed with his feet up on a desk in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office during the Capitol riot earlier this month.

Two weeks ago, a federal magistrate in Arkansas ordered that Richard Barnett, 60, be placed on home detention to await trial on a felony charge of entering the Capitol with a dangerous weapon, as well as misdemeanor charges of unlawful entry to a restricted building, disorderly conduct and theft.

However, Chief U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell blocked that order the same day. Following a memorable hearing on Thursday afternoon, she granted the government’s appeal — effectively ruling that Barnett will stay behind bars for months or longer.

Barnett shaved his beard after the riot, perhaps trying to evade recognition.

Barnett's charges were upgraded when it was determined he was carrying a stun gun inside the Capitol.

QAnon shaman wants to testify at Trump's impeachment.

The QAnon Shaman says he's willing to testify at Trump's impeachment trial — against the president

    excerpt:

"Chansley, Whatley said, had been "horrendously smitten" with Trump, but now feels "like he was betrayed by the president" after the president failed to give him and other Capitol rioters pardons.

Chansley is among several Capitol rioters who asked Trump for a presidential pardon but did not receive one in the final days of the administration. Chansley argued that he'd come to the Capitol "at the request of the president that all 'patriots' come to DC on January 6.""

Another Trump supporter who was duped.

They can file civil suits or a class-action suit against Trump.

A Texas real-estate agent who flew on a private jet to join the Capitol riot has asked Trump for a pardon, saying she was only following his orders

What do you know it didn’t take months behind bars in federal custody to wipe that stupid grin off of his face.

It didn't take much time to wipe the beard off his face either.
