Now you are really confusing the issue.
That was my reply to MeAgain, following her confusion between carbon monoxide nearly drowning her and carbon DIOXIDE that was involved in Angels case.

Angels current blindness was almost uncountably caused the virus in her blood scarring her retina and damaging the rods and cones.

 

I didn't know CO was causing blindness.

Eyes are the most important organ in one's life. That is terrible.

Will her eyes get better?

It makes me so sad that our Angel has suffered over some old heater. I never knew it could cause that.
I am praying that Angel will regain her full sight.

 

MeAgain confused the whole issue.... Angel had a viral infection of her blood and Carbon MONOXIDE was not involved. The virus seemed to have attached to the molecules preventing her lungs from excreting carbon DIOXIDE causing it to build up as a poison and lowering her blood oxygen levels.

Confusion such as this is why it is so dangerous for people to use the internet to self diagnose. Their have been numerous deaths as a result of people being misled by the internet post cardio thoracic surgery.

Oh you're all going to love this.
The eye Dr cancelled my appointment because of insuranc doesn't cover the eye doctor so I need to try to find a new new dr.
All this confusion makes my head ache.
Plus it's after four and Friday so I need to start from scratch on Monday.
Prayers are all that can help me now.

When a person is down for whatever reason usually something comes along which makes it worse.
This most certainly has for you.

Can you not challenge that insurance situation?
I just don’t get it that they won’t pay up.

 

Unfortuntately the NHS doesnt exist in the States .

As a former firefighter having seen it all. CO can do a lot of damage to your body if you are exposed to it for long periods of time. Your brain and your eyes are most effected by it.

 

Breaks my heart as her hubby used an old Kerosene heater as the heating broke down.

 

It's survival instincts. You're not thinking clear when you are trying to survive especially in the cold. You will do whatever it takes to stay warm to stay alive.
