It would better if TX and GA implemented professional psychological counseling programs that treat whatever it is about disgruntled Trump supporters that is troubling them.
How is it that 1/3 of the country's people became mentally challenged all of a sudden? asking for a friend...
US politics are divided into entrenched wealth, including seniors who've made a small fortune on the stock market, and corporations. Which means we're doomed, because the entrenched wealth has the brain of a chicken with its head cut off.
I don't think everyone who voted for Trump is a moron, some are wealthy people who want to stay wealthy, others are bigots who like a President who tries to exclude minorities and immigrants. As for the QAnon Quazies, people like this used to be fairly isolated, but now the internet puts them in touch with like-minded idiots, and thus a movement is born! Without the internet we could have never gotten 30,000 loonies together to storm the Capitol!
Americans have been voting for whoever advertises the most for over twenty years. A twenty year study by Princeton concluded that, no matter who was elected to office, only the top 10% of the wealthiest ever got what they wanted. Anyone foolish enough to keep attempting to vote the bums out of office, is a moron by definition. The latest studies indicate that both republicans and democrats hate each other more than they trust their own parties, and its a grudge match straight out of professional wrestling. Every conservative I've talked to has admitted they know damned well their votes no longer matter. No doubt, they all know they are smarter than the rest of us.
Lynne Patton admits to violating Hatch Act during Trump's term. Former Trump HUD official barred from government job for 4 years over Hatch Act violation Kevin Breuninger Published Tue, Apr 6 20211:53 PM EDT Updated Tue, Apr 6 20214:11 PM EDT https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/06/for...ent-for-4-years-over-hatch-act-violation.html excerpt: "A former Housing and Urban Development official who served under ex-President Donald Trump admitted violating the Hatch Act when she helped produce a video for the Republican National Convention, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel said Tuesday. Lynne Patton, who was regional administrator for HUD’s activities in New York and New Jersey, agreed to accept a 48-month ban from federal employment and pay a $1,000 civil fine, the federal office said in a press release. The terms of the settlement agreement also required Patton to admit “that she engaged in conduct which violated the Hatch Act’s use of official authority prohibition,” the release said."
Kellyanne Conway essentially campaigned for Trump while on White House grounds while in her official designation. She scoffed at arguments that he violated the Hatch Act. Kellyanne Conway dismisses Hatch Act violation: 'Let me know when the jail sentence starts' excerpt: "Conway tore into the former vice president and senator over his vote on the 1994 crime bill, his role in overseeing the 1991 Anita Hill hearing and his record on immigration as she fielded questions from reporters outside the White House. But she insisted she was not commenting on the 2020 election and that she has a right to size up the record of her boss's potential opponent. "I’m going to talk about people’s records because I have the right to," Conway said. "I’m not concerned about Joe Biden," she added. "I’m concerned about the failures of the last administration to deal with the issues of the day, including North Korea." When reporters noted the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) found she violated the Hatch Act with two interviews she gave in late 2017, Conway was dismissive. "Blah, blah, blah," she said as one reporter recounted the OSC's findings. "If you’re trying to silence me through the Hatch Act, it’s not going to work," Conway said. "Let me know when the jail sentence starts," she added."
After Nordstrom dropped Ivanka's clothing line due to Trump's bigotry, Conway promoted Ivanka's merchandise on national TV from the press briefing room of the White House, the room Trump almost never used for its intended purpose of holding press briefings. After being asked repeatedly by the press if Conway had been reprimanded, Sean Spicer would not say that Conway had been reprimanded for the violation. He said only that she had been 'counseled'.
Did anyone see the campaign donation scam Trump ran in 2020? Get this, if you thought you made a one time contribution.....wrong! Trump had the on line forms set up so that as soon as you hit the donation page a buried make this a recurring automatic monthly deduction box was automatically checked. You had to manually uncheck it. Of course they never told you that. Then later on they added a second checked box that gave another donation for his birthday! They had to refund $220 million dollars to unsuspecting donors! The Trump campaign reportedly cheated donors who thought they were making a one-time contribution, collecting recurring donations 'A complete ripoff': Campaign finance experts puzzled and stunned by Trump camp's reported 'money bomb' ploy
Yep, Egger posted it on Saturday. I still don’t know why they aren’t making big news about it. My best guess is because the DNC is also guilty of it as well, and have refunded a smaller percentage than what the GOP owed, according to the article. The GOP just took it to another level, (and a very ridiculous one) in their efforts to get campaign support. It’s fucking criminal even if they do give the money back- people have literally been thrown out in the cold because of these greedy asses!!!
Trump falls nearly 300 spots in the billionaire list. Donald Trump Tumbles Nearly 300 Spots In Billionaire Ranks excerpt: "As is, he is worth an estimated $2.4 billion, enough to qualify for No. 1,299 on the Forbes billionaires list, down from No. 1,001 last year. Trump is actually richer than he was a year ago, when we knocked valuations down at the start of the pandemic, but he couldn’t keep up with the other billionaires on the list, whose fortunes soared."
I'm a Democrat. We Democrats donate through ACTBLUE. We can control the recurring payments if we want or refuse them altogether.
