I'm guessing Teddy has used another word to describe Barrack Obama too.

    Surely wasn't me, Brother.
He's the opposite of me in all his opinions concerning racial matters and all things political.
    Long story, Brother.

This reminds me of the time a friend of mine told me that his uncle put peanut butter all over his butt before his medical exam prior to entry to the army. When he was told to drop his shorts by the doc for prostate exam, the doc was like “WHAT THE HELL IS ALL THIS??!”
His uncle runs his finger back there, puts it in his mouth and says “Tastes like peanut butter!” - LOL!
He wasn’t allowed to enlist and was told he needed to seek some counseling. I would assume this was the same thing for your husband- maybe they even thought he had some medical issues that would disqualify him for selective service. If he was enlisted regardless of that, then they were truly desperate to send people to their death.

My husband was never in the service, also never held even one job.
His father supported him all his life, and died this past October.
We now own the house, and his dad's estate, handled by a lawyer, pays the bills.
I worked my whole life until becoming crippled, then retirred.
He has been in Stafford all his life, rarely even going to a neighboring town.
He has always been isolated. He doesn't understand that the world had changed since .1960, when he was born.
There was something sweet in him, which was why I stayed. When Trump came along with his horrible racist, Maga mindset, Bob got on that train and rode with ecstasy.
He was all for 'making America great again, meaning like it was before the Civil Rights bill was passed into law!
It had become acceptable to be an Asshole, practicing Assholery in public!
I was amazed by that change in him, learning that back in the 80s, we had been at the same Ku Klux Klan meeting-- him inside the fence attending the rally and me outside protesting it!

I had my first dose of Astra-Zeneca about two weeks ago, no side effects other than the usual sore arm.

Now they are having a shortage of the Astra-Zeneca here, so we may get the Pfizer for the second dose...

Not much research yet on mixing vaccines... any one hear anything on that subject?

It now comes to our attention that more than 5 million Americans who got the first dose of Pfizer or Moderna didn't go back for their second dose.

HEY IDIOTS! MAKE A NEW APPOINTMENT AND GET YOUR ASSES IN THERE!! WE WANT HERD IMMUNITY!!

They made my second appointment on the spot. Am I to assume this didn't happen in most cases?
And if it did, why wouldn't people go?
    (I went to both.)

Can't understand it. It's like not finishing a meal, even though you are hungry, so have need of the rest, or driving halfway to your destination and abandoning your car.

Stafford was an all white town. We didn't have a TV, so the - subject just never.came up--- until it was too late.
    That's all I. can say.
Anyroad, I didn't leave him when I found out.
I am not a quitter, and he could change. I pray for that all the time.
