Glad to hear it, but six months? So we won't know until around Thanksgiving whether charges will be filed?

Trump has a way of conjuring the most confused people who seem utterly lost in life. Copeland is claiming self-defense against the Capitol police. https://www.fox13now.com/news/fox-1...n-capitol-riot-says-hed-willingly-do-it-again excerpt: "SALT LAKE CITY — Landon Copeland, one of five Utah men charged with crimes connected to the insurrection, said he wanted to talk to members of Congress on Jan. 6 about police brutality and the presidential election. He’s in jail now, he says, because he’s accused of threatening the probation officer who was supervising him while he was free pending trial. “I’m alleging that I did not,” Copeland told FOX 13 in an interview from the Washington County jail.

I don’t think you know what I am.’” Copeland, 33, is charged in federal court in Washington, D.C., with four counts related to the insurrection, including charges of fighting with police and remaining in a restricted area. He could serve 7 ½ years in prison if convicted. He was free pending trial and then was arrested earlier this month. The specifics of why he was arrested and has been detained have been sealed in federal court."
FOX 13 Investigates: Utah man charged in Capitol riot says he’d ‘willingly do it again’ By: Nate Carlisle Posted at 9:48 PM, May 24, 2021 and last updated 11:22 AM, May 25, 2021 https://www.fox13now.com/news/fox-1...n-capitol-riot-says-hed-willingly-do-it-again excerpt: "Video and photos from that day show Copeland wresting a crowd control gate away from police. “They took that crowd control gate,” Copeland said, “and they had it up about chest high and they were pushing it into people, stabbing them with the feet on the bottom of it.” “And I grabbed a hold of it with the rest of the people that were there, and we went to shaking it trying to shake the officers off of it. And then, they hit everybody with pepper spray and they were saying, ‘Hit their hands! Hit their hands!’” “So, everybody started letting go. So, I picked the thing up and tried to chuck it over the tops of the officers in the hopes that they wouldn’t use it as a weapon anymore against us.”"
Tell that explanation to the judge. Copeland blew up at a previous remote court hearing and used profanity. The most ardent supporters of Trump haven't been able to make their election fraud claims stick in court or the election boards. It's one of the most frustrating situations for them. Even some of the most ardent of Trump's forum trolls have given up. They're left with engaging in fantasy investigations of their own that will have no traction in court, such as the one Cyber Ninjas is doing in AZ.

He knows he can’t run and hide, so he’s making it into a political statement- trying to drag his base into it. This is solely about him and his family business dealings, and nothing to do with the Russia investigation. He knows he’s done. I just hope they don’t peter out like the GOP during and after his 2nd impeachment.
I hope he tries to run to Russia. Since he’s been buddy-buddy with Putin, he’ll feel right at home over there, until Putin poisons him.
But he'd have to find another country that would let him in the door first. I don't think even Russia would really want him there. Maybe the republic of Alabama would give him a tourist visa.
If Florida can't keep him from being extradited then here's a list of countries with no U.S. extradition treaty. Non Extradition Countries: Best Places To Run w/ No Extradition Treaty (offshore-protection.com) Most of them are what he calls shitholes, but he could live on a Pacific island and get himself a good security force to ensure he won't get abducted. He has options.
Money always has options. He'd be an even bigger fool to let himself go to trial and prison. Go buy an island someplace and sit your rich fat ass on the beach to live out your remaining five or six years....
I noticed an article which said Trump was getting his private aero-plane serviced. It has been sitting neglected for a couple of years.
More lies on top of all the other lies (that have been lied about) from the cult leader. The orange man cometh.....
