39 ford standard coupe my dad had one back in his young racing days. I wish I still had pics of his car it looked as nice as this one. It had the flat head V-8. I remember a lot about those engines from a lot of older car guys.
'40 Merc Phaeton. (4 door convertible=Phaeton) I knew a family that had one of these... Red with white interior and top.
That's a '58. '57s had single headlights with the turn signals on the inside of the headlights. Here's a '57 (also notice the tail fins): The '57 Fury was a Belvedere twin four barrel 318 290 HP option with a special interior and trim package. We had a '57 318 two barrel Belvedere. These were revolutionary cars for the time, unfortunately they were prone to rust.
That reminds me of some idiot who tried to drive a Bronco across the ice on the Susquehanna river one winter back in the '70s. Made it about half way before the ice broke. Fortunately the river was only about three feet deep at that point. Unfortunately the river is a mile wide. So the thing sat out there for a couple months as I don't think anyone had a tow cable that long.
