I am curious as to why they chose that stretch of highway. Why not I40, I44, or I35? Are they afraid they would get too much flak?
I just had a thought, that is a federal highway can states entitle federal highways? I honestly don’t know.

The Constitution was set up to protect AGAINST autocratic, authoritarian rule ............... which is just what today's REPUBLICAN PARTY is trying to establish by limiting voting hours, numbers of voting machines, eliminating ballot drop boxes, allowing ONLY partisan poll watchers, cutting back absentee voting and voting by mail, along with many other actions intended to eliminate competition by anyone OTHER THAN REPUBLICANS.

My estimate is this ............. the U.S.A. as we have known it - has less than 20 years to survive. And that's without outside invasion of any sort. We are in the process of self-destructing our once-great democracy - - - AND free society. Look for conditions like those seen in Russia, China, North Korea, Belarus, Myanmar, Iran, and some of the African and South American autocratic, military dictatorships. Citizens will have NO SAY, NO VOTE (unless you vote for the autocratic RULER - and if you don't - look to be thrown in prison or killed), and all your life savings will be confiscated (stolen) from you and turned over to the ruler and his selected generals. Don't think for one minute that you'll be allowed to keep your wealth - to whatever degree you have any. Your land and property will also be taken - or you'll pay INSANE TAXES to the ruling government.

Look around in the world ........... avg. Russian and Chinese people are poor. The "elite" dick-suckers of the "ruler-in-charge" and the ruler himself will be the only ones with a good living. Working people in those countries are POOR. They struggle ............. much more than what people here in the U.S. struggle.

Think it's not possible here?????? Look who got the biggest part of the REPUBLICAN LED tax overhaul. Once again ........... it's the top 1%. Some people got a measly $1000 bucks back. The top 1% got hundreds of billions back. And NOW - REPUBLICAN sate legislatures around the country are limiting voting rights, hours, places, methods, means of counting ballots, and WHO can even observe those ballot counting activities. Does THAT sound like free and fair elections ......................... or more like RUSSIA'S and CHINA"s methods of "voting" ?????????????????
